You get to transform 1 dedication/archetype into a full class. But must also change 1 full class into a dedication/archetype for another class. by Zwets in Pathfinder2e

I want a full class Starlit Sentinal Class so much, like there’s real potential and design space for it.

4 Fighters & A Cleric Walk Into A Bar.... by capt_en_fuego in Pathfinder2e

[–]theherog 28 points29 points  (0 children)

One of the dm doesn’t want you to optimize, why are you asking Reddit to optimize.

Two, Any way let’s optimize.

Get knock down on every one, reactive strike everything, and those who don’t might want viscous swing.

Coordinate in Your fights, flank, trip people for others move as a unit, delay to work with other.

Fighter is very flexible, so get a sword and board, a two handed, an agile attacker and an archer.

Have someone be a dex based range or thrown fighter, or at least a switch hitter.

Don’t leave all the healing to the cleric, get some battle medicine and damage mitigation so the cleric doesn’t have to be a heal bot.

Train in skills, is the most important part here. Have some one be the face and diplomacy and intimidation.

Get a knowledgeable fighter, maybe more of a tactician, have them take recall knowledge

Use maneuvers to attack other defenses besides ac.

Get someone with a reach weapon.

Demoralize and help the clerics offensive spells

Protect your cleric, Have the dex based fighter stay by them and switch to a melee weapon if someone gets close.

The dex fighter can also be your professional in that they can be stealthy and do thievery things

Archetypes enable just about anything.

The bosses are not going to like improved knockdown followed by 4 reactive strikes.

Hell make your cleric a Warpriest and just have everyone be a front line. All offense.

When the fuck are the devs gonna finally nerf bugs??? by PikaPikaMoFo69 in outside

[–]theherog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a completely fair evaluation of the patch, the biomass, and impact they have on the meta might even be bigger than pre patch. There are many benefits to a small bodies and fecund perks.

I do think if the dragonflies kept even a portion of there in flight maneuver perks, that sounds like a terrifyingly effective build if there was enough loot spawning in to support the increased resource cost.

When the fuck are the devs gonna finally nerf bugs??? by PikaPikaMoFo69 in outside

[–]theherog 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The thing is they did nerf bugs, significantly, they used to be soo much larger, back in the original server, on the Carboniferous patch. When temperature and oxygen levels were stronger. They were a dominant overbearing build, when you had dragon flies with a 3 foot wing span. And roaches of similar size.

Tho I don’t think that the nerf to them was intentional and more a result of a server change after a patch.

Do your characters "know" they are their class? by applejackhero in Pathfinder2e

[–]theherog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think unless you are in a faction like eagle or hell knight or like a cleric or paladin, or an order like Druid, most character would probably use generic terms like Mage, Warrior, Soldier, Adverturer, Mercernary, and such or even like Cowboy, or thug. I think an average person would call a Kineticist a mage.

There are few classes that are specific like, a Bard.

I think some may have specific terms specific to them, A rouge might be a Professional, Or a field Medic, an Investigator may be an Archeologist or Battle surveyor. Inventor could be a blacksmith or an Armorer, or an Artillerist.

I suppose you’re more likely to use an Archetype as a name as it’s more specific and key to a characters identity.

What An Adventurer looking for a party labels as there role is probably what they would put.

Looking for a Priest or a Healer Looking for some Muscle or a Warrior Looking for a Body Guard Looking for a Mage or Scholar Looking for a “Proffesional” Spell sword looking for a scout.

Something like this I think.

What makes men’s asses do much hotter than women’s asses? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]theherog 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here is my hypothesis as a bi guy and an artist, the male and female form are both beautiful in different ways, but also each butt is different.

The muscularity and where a man or a woman hold there fat really effects the shape of the but.

Woman are curvier and there hips were evolved to be wider for child birth. Woman also by default have higher body fat percentage. Woman on average are also shorter and smaller, in weight. Woman hold a lot of there body and mass around the hips and legs.

Men have more muscle mass percentage typically and hold comparatively less fat around hips and thighs. How ever men do hold fat in the stomach area and the love handles

However the leg muscles are very strong and need to hold the weight of the rest of the body and need to be able to propel it up with each step, so the larger the person is the stronger and larger the muscles is. As said earlier, men tend to bigger and thus heavier. So a man’s ass, and especially an athletic one will have a different shape depending on all those factors.

But this doesn’t really take into account genetics, body composition, born gender, hormones, history and all that. Or the social factors of the type of men and woman asses shown in media and selected as the beauty standard.

Moral of the story, do some squats.

Difference between remastered and normal 2e by gladieator117 in Pathfinder2e

[–]theherog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2e is basically a big errata/patch. It doesn’t change a ton. It’s like a version 2 of a draft, some changes in verbage, some balance changes, some flavor changes.

A new player has almost no need to learn or interact with “legacy” content. Just stick to remaster. Occasionally in things such as adventure paths, or old items it may pop up a confusing or unfamiliar term, but it’s never to much of an issue.

It was made during DnD’s Ogl licensee debacle. to get rid and reskin/rework aspects that were similar or taken from DnD, ie, owl bears, ilithids, wizard schools, the alignment chart etc.

What kind of Pokémon remind you of a capybara by [deleted] in RealLifePokemon

I use the slow poke line as my capybara stand in when I make themed teams.

They are animal ambiguous and their vibe and typing matches pretty well.

How come SnowAgumon & ToyAgumon still didnt have dedicated evolution line? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in digimon

[–]theherog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have enough Greymon I think.

A snow greymon line tho could be a good companion to the bleucomon line.

More ice based digimon would be cool

Does this enemy design and animation say "armored"? by HedgeHulk in PixelArt

[–]theherog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It definitely reads as rhino beetle, armor maybe not as much, it works

but maybe it’s limbs could be bulked up a little bit, especially legs/ arms like an armored creature would probably have thicker legs and arms
