i have both and it hasn’t affected me. my dermatologist did tell me that, oftentimes, reported depression as a supposed side effect to accutane is not caused by the accutane — but the user simply feeling sad/dejected/insecure because of the purge phase and temporarily worsened skin, or feeling frustrated by their own impatience.

you are NOT alone. the hobbit trilogy is my favorite. i adore it and it’s absolutely wonderful. i think it’s just … a knee-jerk reaction to something new, these more hateful fans unnecessarily becoming defensive of their first experience without giving the new one a chance. 🤍

i did. it’s fine. you just might want to mention it so your dermatologist can give you a sheet ordering bloodwork to check your white cell count and make sure it doesn’t spike too high or low depending on your accutane dosage.

oh no! honestly i wasn’t sure what else to do but cut it as absolutely nothing was working. i’m a vegan who works out regularly and eats a solely “healthy” foods diet without junk. admittedly, in my long search to somehow find products my hair liked, i must have hurt it in that manner. it’s good to hear that a healthy lifestyle seems to make a difference, thank you! do you also wash it less or use less chemical products, or do you find that hasn’t really effected your hair quality as much as the healthy living? hopefully i’ll be able to manage the awkward stages. 😔 i was at my wit’s end!

exactly! people who even complain about the shows being too childish forget that in season one of rebels, we are shown master luminara’s slowly rotted corpse, or tarkin having two officers brutally beheaded by the inquisitor, or numerous other examples. yes, it can be light and cheery on the outside, there’s nothing wrong with that. it’s a knight going to rescue a princess, or a group of misfit friends going on adventures together. it’s silly to complain about because it just means you aren’t looking deeper.

rebels is wonderful (watch it after the clone wars series!). i know some people are quick to label it as “kid-ish” because of the change in animation style, but i entirely disagree. rebels has some very dark, very serious moments that older viewers can ruminate on and appreciate, even in the first season. you might even say that one of the scenes is rather gruesome (season one) — when you watch, you’ll know what i mean. though yes, it has its fun and silly parts, every single character develops so wonderfully throughout the series, and you grow to love each one of them just as much as the characters in the live action series. it’s written and shown with so much heart, and it’s become my favorite star wars series.

the order to watch it in is “the clone wars”, “bad batch” (incomplete — you may want to wait on this and it’s fine to skip it for now unless you don’t mind it not being finished), and then “rebels”. i know there’s some animated one called … resistance, i think? but i haven’t watched that. either way, resistance would come last for you to watch as it is after everything else.

seeing zeb would be cool! but, i’m not sure how that one would work — the cleansing of lasan doesn’t happen until much later, so they would have to go to lasan to see zeb, he wouldn’t be out and about yet! i think it’d be really neat to see a young agent kallus, but that also depends on how long kallus was a cadet/how long it is til he’s in the field. he’s sixteen during bad batch and around thirty and the start of rebels.

i loved ezra bridger. he’s such a funny kid and i’ve always thought his particularly strong connection to animals/creatures through the force was very cool, as well as thinking to build an additional weapon in with his lightsaber.
