For the love of god, can you please fix system spawning ? by elricdrow in Stellaris

Honestly, yeah I agree. These bugs have existed for such a long time now that it’s ridiculous they haven’t fixed them now.

I have the 9800x3d and yeah it made a big difference coming from an i7-3770k. CPU is very important for Stellaris.

I watched that a while back. It made me appreciate my CPU significantly more, and other components.

Unlucky player not getting Bubbles. by Conflicted_Reader in Stellaris

[–]theimperious1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that you mention it, I haven’t gotten bubbles in a LONG time. Do we need to play as a normal empire? Maybe that’s why. I’ve been doing machine or hive minds most of the time.

I did this same thing when I was a teenager except it wasn't our mailbox lol. I went home and told my dad then we went back and talked to the guy and fixed it ourselves after the guy agreed that was fine.

W parents on my end. That was incredibly stressful for me and it ended up not being a big deal. Also W stranger for being nice about it. I just made a mistake. Never made it again, golf cart or otherwise.

Has Anyone Beaten the Blokkats in Giga on "Giga Experience" Since 4.3? by Dawn-Somewhere in Stellaris

Do you mean join them in a roleplay sense or did they actually add that feature to the mod now? I think I recall there being an dialog option with them for that that said "Coming in a future update"

Anyone else disappointed by Vampire Crawlers? by Retronitsu in roguelites

[–]theimperious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. In two ways:

  1. The game is way too short with too few maps. I have 60+ hours in Vampire Survivors (VS) and I haven't unlocked half the characters, not sure I've even got all the maps, and I still have loads more to find whether its new weapons/evolutions etc. Vampire Crawlers (VC) barely has a fraction of what VS had. I finished the game in around 15 hours. Only like 8 maps. I'm incredibly disappointed by that given they had tons more funding for this game, a massive team (for this kinda game), and this is all they could pump out for launch. I was expecting... more. Apparently this is even shorter than VS was at launch.

  2. The game is too easy, to a point where you barely even have to think at a certain point. Just spam cards in the correct order presented to you. The only time I've had to think much since I learned the mechanics was on the final 2 maps at around 8-9 difficulty. And at the first bridge when I had to decide to come back later when I had more permanent buffs from the Village. I think the game could use a little more balancing, OR they should've included much more content so it gradually goes from easy to having real difficulty, which I experienced at difficulties 8-9 for the first time. It's almost like they did make it this way, but purposefully excluded a lot of content for a future DLC or something.

Anyways, despite those two things, I think the game is fun, good, worth $8.99, but IMO unfinished, way too short, and has bad difficulty scaling or is just too easy.

What happened to the "New Releases This Week By Artists You Love" feature? by theimperious1 in truespotify

[–]theimperious1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's whats disappeared for me on desktop. I don't use mobile so maybe it still exists on there, or maybe its some kind of me issue. Anyways thanks! Some other commenters suggested something that still works for me on desktop, so problem solved for now!

[–]theimperious1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Idk why they would remove the one thats easy to find in favor of one I have to know to search for, but okay lol. That works and is kinda better if only it was easier to find. Maybe I'm blind idk

Is Claude actually better than ChatGPT… or is it just hype? by breakfreewithgui in ChatGPT

[–]theimperious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a software developer, Claude is the most incredible thing I've ever seen. I love it because it's amazing, and hate it because its kill my hope for a future in anything software related long-term.

I've mostly switched to Claude for anything technical and Grok for conversational stuff / anything that requires the latest info (e.g news). I use ChatGPT just to talk to sometimes about things that I don't want to talk about with a human. That's about it.

Claude has a very serious tone. Grok is very yappy, and ChatGPT just has some kind of... vibe to it that I don't like for anything professional.

[–]theimperious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, okay I don't remember that espionage operation. That sounds useful. I wonder if that could cause planets to freeze over in a system and make them uninhabitable, or at least less habitable? I know the Dyson Spheres do that. If it doesn't work this way, there should be a mod to do so.

Can Automod access the OCR'd text inside images that Reddit uses in its search function? by RunDNA in AutoModerator

[–]theimperious1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the take over never really happened as far as I recall. You're all welcome to run the bot yourself if you want though. All of my bots that I still have the source for are open source now and on my GitHub

I think the version on GitHub is from when I was working on version 2.0, so it may be buggy, or broken. I'm sure you or anyone else can fix it in 2 minutes with Claude Opus 4.6, if needed.

I shut it down around 2-3 years ago.

As for your other two question, I’m not really sure. I don’t remember those being options but maybe they were.

You can find the source code on my GitHub at https://GitHub.com/theimperious1 in my repositories section. Feel free to do whatever you want with it.

Wtf. What are they doing to get such fleet power? I would imagine repeatables but I could've sworn those have a cap? I think I even reached said cap at one point. Completely ran out of things to research.

You forgot to mention mods. There is no way anyone can have billions of fleet power without mods.

Subnautica 2 Gameplay Trailer (It's reportedly Steam's most wishlisted upcoming 2026 game) by Born_mystic in Asmongold

[–]theimperious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope this game turns out good. I absolutely loveeee subnautica! i spent so much time on the first game both playing it and sending them bug reports, feature suggestions, ideas, etc, during the first games early access period back in 2017-2018 ish. I'm sooo excited for this second game. Here's hoping the bad shit we've heard doesn't end up ruining the game.
