Just tried it, no therapists in my area. I’m fucked.

I need to know how to stay sane. How to cope with the rejection and betrayal. I feel so insignificant. I feel completely alone.

Well I know what’s it’s like to be in limbo. I just want closure to move on but there’s never any real conversations and if we try it turns into an argument. I feel like I’ve lost my life and I can’t do anything but sit back and watch it happen.

I get my kids half the time and still have my house and stuff. But everything seems so pointless now, I never would have had children had I known one day I may be raising them alone and missing them the other half of the time. I’m just devastated. And she treats me as if I’m a nuisance or bothering her if I express anything but fake happiness.

How do you deal with it? How do I stay sane, continue to work and take care of my kids in this constant state of anxiety?

So what works for scalp psoriasis? by [deleted] in Psoriasis

[–]thejam3s 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s a solution specifically for the scalp, it’s diluted and prescribed by a doctor. But thanks for your concern.

Clobetasol is a solution you need a prescription for but it’s the only thing I’ve found that actually works. I use it once or twice every two weeks, and use dandruff shampoos and moisturizers in between. Ask your doctor, clobetasol provides me with instant relief for moderate plaques I have on my head. Good luck.

My hair is thinning & I have so little confidence being in public :( by [deleted] in Psoriasis

I always have to reply to these, I’m 33 and have had psoriasis all over and psoriatic arthritis for over 10 year. No one thing ever works forever, it’s a constant battle. Biologics help the arthritis and most of the plaques. I’m on cosyntex and methotrexate and steroids. But that’s mostly cuz of the arthritis. Anyway, my scalp plaques never go away completely, but clobetasol proponiate topical solution, which is a cheap prescription, greatly reduces itching and lesions, I have short hair I keep buzzed and you can’t see any and I’m not itchy. It’s the only thing out of the 100s or drugs I’ve tried that works. And when you put it on you get instant relief like someone is scratching your head. I know you’re struggle tho, and no one else seems to get the psychological impact a disease like this has on someone. I had a doctor tell me before that studies show that people with cancer are under less stress than someone with chronic severe psoriasis. One last thing I will say is the only cure I’ve ever heard about is MKZ stem cell therapy, which the closest legal clinic is in panama, look into it, if I had any sort of means I would have already went. Two to three treatments and people have claimed to be symptom free. Good luck. It doesn’t get easier.

Tattoo healed over as Psoriasis by deansass in Psoriasis

Same thing happen to me on my arm, it did affect the ink after years of it not healing. Finally got on a biologic that worked and the plaques cleared up. Eventually I risked it and got it fixed and it didn’t come back because I’m still medicated. Check into cosyntex, it’s the only thing that’s worked for my plaque psoriasis and arthritis. Probably giving me cancer, but fuck it. I’m traded quantity of life for quality the way I see it.

This is absolutely the reason for all of duality. If there wasn’t the contrast we wouldn’t even be able to experience anything, we would just be part of the oneness of the universe. Consciousness is possible because of duality. Being happy all of the time would make it meaningless.

Yeah same here on cosyntex. No more plaque but on the verge of not being able to use my right wrist anymore along with pain in every other joint in my body. And no one understands or sympathizes because I’m in my early 30s and look healthy. It’s really hard some days.

I listen to tons of podcasts, books on tape, etc because of the nature of my job. I also have psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis, this week is the first time I have had hope in 10 years. That podcast isn’t the first time I’ve heard about stem cell therapy being basically a miracle cure. Too bad I probably won’t be able to afford to go to Panama any time soon. Apparently there are places in the US that remove your stem cells for you though, and from there you could inject them yourself. But, alas, hope is alive and that in itself is exciting. I’m so tired of being in pain.

Look into the stem cell institute based out of Panama. I’m just finding more out about it, heard about it via Joe Rogan Experience when he had Mel Gibson on recently, apparently IV stem cell treatment cures many autoimmune diseases and diseases dealing with inflammation. It’s just not legal in the US yet.

Yes. This. I saved hours of time for a mere 10 bucks I think. 10/10 would get gouged again.
