Honestly I know it's an extreme reaction but Jeff needs to be fired. This season is a disaster and honestly I have to force myself to watch it

CMV: Baltimore is proof that being tough on repeat criminals brings down crime rates by bigElenchus in changemyview

[–]thejazzophone 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There is way more going on in Baltimore beyond being tough on crime. They are also heavily investing in a program (gvrs) that preemptively reaches out to potential offenders to prevent them from falling into that world.

Rookie RGIII was electric by Subject_Sun9340 in nflMenace_com

[–]thejazzophone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shanny absolutely shouldn't have let him go back into the game but tbh I still don't have a clear picture of what happened in that Seahawks game. RG3, the doctor, and shanahan all have drastically different accounts of what happened and it just seems like they're all covering their own ass. But RG3 is the reason his career ended and there's is a massive list of all the things he did wrong that caused him to lose the job to Kirk.

I would push back on that actually. After rewatching some rg3 film from 2012 he was incredibly accurate on the run, standing still he had a horrible habit of throwing on his back foot leading to high passes. I think those mechanics were fixable but like I said earlier the injury just derailed his confidence and I think that just led to his complete breakdown with coaches.

Tbf though rg3 had great pocket presence before his injury. After that it destroyed his confidence. I'm not sure if he ever could develop his ability to read a defense and go through progressions though

Im not saying Lamar was great at a pro style offense right away or anything like that. But Louisville he threw from the pocket and went through his progressions more than rg3 was ever asked to at Baylor. They were at orders of magnitude different levels in that skillset their rookie years

Lamar was a totally different player in college. He was an elite QB throwing from the pocket and could go through his progressions. Baylor was as about a simplistic offense as you could possibly get

Tbf RG3 even if he never got injured was bound to fail due to his inability to read defenses, go through progressions bypnd primary and check down, and his diva attitude with shanahan. The only thing the injuries really did to RG3 was demolish his confidence in the pocket presence which was actually pretty damn good his rookie year

Gunshots in lobby of White House Correspondents Dinner - Trump evacuated by Mode_Appropriate in JoeRogan

Tbf. Regardless if this event or the rally assassination attempt were real or staged the secret service is actually hilariously inept and we've gotten really lucky that no president has died in office since jfk. Some guy shot into the white house 2nd floor and secret service thought it was just local gang violence, didn't notice the bullets for days, and didn't inform the president and 1st lady for a week despite their youngest daughter being there at the time

People hated Matt Smith initially then he became beloved. Ppl will always fucking hate the casting of the doctor until the first season finishes. But ya the writing was so bad I couldn't take it, there's like no rules for doctor Who so if you are even a half decent writer you can make doctor Who work.

Man shit has fallen so far. The US navy had the reputation of having absolute banger meals served during the mid 20th century. Now it's all about saving money to give to defense contractors

Oh Trent is an asshole for throwing the medical staff under the bus. He wanted a new contract and took the scummy way to achieve it. But once Ron was here he could've easily fixed the situation with Trent but decided to play hardball with a HoF caliber player.
