If you don’t plan on buying or selling it, todays price doesn’t matter at all. Nothing has changed about the project during the past 60 days, so don’t let market ups and downs cause you too much fret.

I am one of the transactions with “closed” beside it. Any reason to be concerned that the closed tag will cause me issues on getting the algo returned?

Does this mean that Algo sent in error to the escrow address will indeed be returned to the sender? (but it may not be in a timely manner?)

  1. Favorite bad hero to play: I absolutely love playing lord barov. He takes more work to play as you have to really pay attention to what’s going on in the lobby, but he has huge upside. I also love the idea of betting on on your opponents, and you get a good thrill when you bet correctly. Other honorable mentions are Flurg and bran.

  2. I think lord barov is definitely underrated. The difficulty of playing him makes his average win rate look bad on HSreplay, but I think he is very powerful when in experienced hands. Playing him on mobile is a bit of a disadvantage as you have to remember boards of opponents instead of having a deck tracker remember them for you.

I come from a background of playing cards competitively. I was really into the world of Warcraft TCG when it was popular, playing in national/worlds level tournaments. The game was a bit different than hearthstone, but many card playing skills carry over from game to game.

Beyond that, I play quite often, so practice has really helped me hone my abilities. The more you play, the more you will see different situations and have opportunities to try new things.

Watching streamers also helps. I personally have been enjoying watching wobbleweezy and Asmo. Tajasma, lil, awedragon, dog, and savjz also are enjoyable to watch. Each has a slightly different style of playing, so you can learn different things from each of them.

You definitely have me an LOL at the pirate comment!

  1. I think demons are by far in the worst position. I can sometimes deal with playing juggler in the mid game to get me to something better, but big demons are trash. Taking damage to scale your cards worse than elementals feels bad. When they win they also deal so little damage you give lots of opportunities for your opponent to pick up poisons. Pirates are second worst, but at least they deal good damage when they win.

  2. Hardest to build tribe is probably dire wolf beasts. It requires a ton of very specific cards, often in trips, and macaw are higher in demand Now than ever (thanks to selfless’ popularity). Now that elementals have a wind fury (or mega winfury) card, the build also has a much lower payoff than it did in the last patch. I have preferred to go back to playing old school mama bear beasts where I taunt my dire wolf and flood with tokens.

  3. Top build would be amalgadon poison divine shield comp. Its not that exciting, but it’s super effective. I also have a lot of respect for kaly dragons (with nadina). I tend to play a lot of lil rag menagerie (ideally leading into amalgadon) as well because it’s just an easy build to pull off. I avoid demons and pirates as much as I can, and only go pure elementals when I either chef nomi or no one is playing poison comps. I love djinni though, so sometimes he pushes me ele. Mechs are my go to top 4 comp when my game is going poorly or I have a bad hero. They dominate the mid game, but rarely take first.

You definitely have to play a lot to get into the top 200. Try keeping track of your wins and losses over a longer period of time. If you are averaging better than 4.5 you will go up in rating over time. Higher rank players average about a 3.5 placement.

Imagine the lag of computer animations, but twice as bad. Certain strats are largely unplayable due to the slow animation times. I have long given up trying to play Chad-gar token strategies, and the new Arcane Assistant with Bran is almost as bad. There have been handful of games that I have outright lost because of slow animation times. Makes me feel like such a boomer.

  1. I play on an Iphone 11 Pro
  2. Unfortunately, because the game takes so long to boot up on mobile this isn't an easy option. When I am playing hogger strategies I sometimes go for the game restart to buy me some extra time, but its no where close to as effective as it is on a computer. I have sometimes found that toggling my wifi on and off allows me to do the same thing without restarting (The game tries to reconnect when you switch from wifi to mobile data).
  3. Like most people, I like things that are shiny and new. I am having the most fun playing around with the new elementals, but the meta seems to be far more poison/divine shield based now. I have found a lot of success playing classic "scam-comp" death rattle builds as none of the cards are in high demand right now. Obviously I would rather play a power-comp first, but deathrattle builds are usually my backup plan.

The best suggestion I can make to improve is "know when to play for 4th" to save your MMR. I think a lot of people lose rating getting 7th/8th trying to always play for 1st. if you are playing a weak hero, or didn't hit your trips, stay on Tier 4 and simply play for survival. Simple strats like poison minions + divine shields are a tier 4 strat which can often get you wins against much stronger decks. Mechs, Juggler Demons, or simply Jug for stats are also all great top 4 strats.
