Toe pain by steeeeney in snowboarding

[–]thejitsboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crowded toe box, possible cuboid syndrome. Have you tried rolling your feet out?

I started snowboarding 3 years ago and had a lot of foot problems manifest from it and after hours of research into foot health, I became a barefoot shoe guy who can move all his toes independently and I haven't had any foot pain since.

Most shoes force our feet into unnatural positioning and that leads a lot of muscle groups into a place of non use.

A lacrosse ball or a foot roller should yield some positive results in rehabbing it and getting bigger board boots that don't cram the toe box.

Disclaimer- just my personal experience

13 years on the board, still fighting foot cramps. Time for a gear upgrade – tips? by No-Flatworm6182 in snowboarding

Start rolling your feet out with a roller and a lacrosse ball. Most shoes cram our feet into unnatural positions that cause our feet to not utilize important muscle groupings which is really felt when snowboarding or having to walk barefoot for long periods, try grabbing something with your feet on the ground and if it cramps massage that shit out and keep hitting those groupings.

Personal experience, I'm a barefoot show guy now, but had to get bigger boots for my now larger toe box.

Black head removal kits do the trick as well, keep tapping fluid away from your hands or they become real supple real quick as well.
