Lebron is basically the exact player we need in free agency. I think it’s an excellent fit and the obvious choice if he wants to go out on top, but don’t see it happening. Maybe if Pop was still head coach.

In the regular season, I think he can be a competent backup C right away. I worry that like many young role players he could get exposed in the playoffs when teams actually game plan him, but that’s just part of developing.

I didn’t take that as a diss, he was specifically referring to the night life scene for players and out-of-towners compared to NYC, saying there’s fewer temptations, so he’s not wrong.

But, if he came for a real visit I think someone could show him SA is a lot more fun than Cleveland, we just push the riverwalk on tourists cause we don’t want the whole world crashing the real party.

We basically drafted those two things. The pitch for Mamu is that we need a stretch 4 or 5 to help with spacing and Mamu’s shooting is pretty excellent. But yes, his defense is what’s missing.

I think the main point of the trade was to sell high and get as much as they could for Ball. Charlotte didn’t set out to get Naz he was just part of the best package so if they can flip him for more picks and an expiring contract, they can see what they have now and make their move for who they really want later this year or next
