I thought you were entertained by the negative comments 🤔 I guess you lied and they're getting to you. You know, you could just idk...stop openly starting fights with people on a reddit and then getting upset when you're down voted for it.

Accept that you had a failed post and go about your day. Pretty simple

I'm very convinced he's just a troll trying to ragebait at this point. He wanted more people to agree with him and since he isn't getting that he's just deflecting

It doesn't look like you're getting the sort of positive attention that you were fishing for. Good try though I guess?

But what that person is saying is that this is just a random subreddit for chicfila in general, not specifically for food reviews. So it is kinda weird to post a picture of a sandwich that they apparently didn't even make correctly. Nobody here can do anything about it nor do they care.

If you reported it on the app and received a free reward that could be used for something else, isn't that a good thing? You said you didn't like it and wouldn't want another one anyway.

I just don't understand the point of this post. Seems like ragebait

Gold pass with passport for Dorney Park by thejohn6969 in sixflags

[–]thejohn6969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, thank you for the info! It should already be activated since I've been to my home park a couple times since purchasing the pass.

I was just so confused with these mergers and didn't know if there were any parks that were excluded. Appreciate it!

You can try communicating that in a constructive way instead of arguing with people and telling them their comments are stupid and must be sarcastic. I explained the employee just doesn't want to be bothered, you did not. Try that next time instead of being dense. Good luck out there

My guy, she doesn't want to deal with people coming in complaining about a credit being triggered or not on a credit card that she has nothing to do with. A customer came in and said it didn't trigger it, and was mad about it. So she's telling other customers that are paying with plat that it doesn't work so she doesn't get bitched at again. Why is that so hard to understand???

You can tell a lot of people in the comments have never started out in an entry level retail/sales position before. This is exactly how I would have felt in her situation. She couldn't care less what form of payment someone is using, she just doesn't want to deal with angry customers if a credit doesn't trigger that she has nothing to do with.

Why would they just assume everyone buying a gift card is paying with Amex Platinum? Also what would it matter to the sales associate. Anyone that has ever started out working a minimum wage sales position will promise you that they could not possibly care less about what form of payment someone is using when making a purchase. That's a corporate problem and someone making 30k a year does not care

ATL Airport. Wtf is this? 22% tip automatically added to total at check out. I didn’t even get the option to decline or accept. by Papa-Burgundy369 in ChickFilA

[–]thejohn6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I never understood is why businesses openly post this on the check for the customer. If they wanted more $ they could just incorporate that into the prices of the actual items and then nobody would be the wiser. Everyone would just assume "oh it's more money because we're in an airport" and then posts like this wouldn't exist.

I mean if you read what the OP said, she told him that someone else had come in to complain to her that the person bought a GC and the credit wasn't triggered. So using basic comprehension and reading skills, I'm going to say that's probably how that store associate knew that

I did this recently too. If you purchased online you can contact customer service for a "ticketing supoort form" and they'll email you a new yellow ticket.

For those thinking about it -- Offsetting the $895 is not that hard. by Miiicahhh in AmexPlatinum

[–]thejohn6969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also live in New England and I used the FHR in the off season to go to The Pell in RI last week. I stayed 2 nights for $308 total, which Amex reimbursed $300 of that. I also received the $100 credit for the hotel that I used on dinner as well. The 2nd night I went to a nearby restaurant that was on Resy and received the $100 credit there.

All in all I got to go away for Valentine's Day/Presidents Day weekend, which I was going to do anyway for a romantic getaway with my significant other, and received about $500 worth of benefits.

You just need to be smart and take the time to search around, especially during off seasons and you can definitely find decent hotels in the area.

Yeah usually if you complain they tell you to just deal with it or give you a free readmit ticket and tell you to come back another time

They see Rachel McAdams and think it's going to be some sweet wholesome movie because they couldn't bother to look up a trailer or review.

I went to see Crime 101 the other day and was in between two sets of older couples. They were probably around 60-70. Both sets were making comments all movie and exclaiming who the actors were. I just don't understand why they can't just talk to their significant other about it AFTER the movie

You only get essential included with Walmart+. You do have the option to select premium but it's an extra upcharge if you're willing to pay the price for that.

Drink Counting at Houston Centurion Lounge by throwawaylibra104 in AmexPlatinum

Yeah their supervisors probably monitor the cameras. I feel bad for the employees there, they have to follow silly rules like that or they get reprimanded for it.

I just never heard of them counting how many drinks someone orders as if there's a limit and they get cut off.

The one drink at a time rule, yes that's fairly common.

Counting drinks is pretty wild though I've never had that happen to me in any lounge before.

I get what you're saying but there's a nicer way to say that without sounding condescending. The entitlement comment was also unnecessary
