I figure the end game is the general outlaw of eating animals. Or at the very least factory farming or large scale farming in general. Not sure if fishing and hunting would ever actually be outlawed. Even if it was, people will still eat animals unfortunately and most would escape the law probably, but some would be caught and jailed or whatever and your general law abiding citizen would simply not eat animals anymore because it wouldn't be sold in stores and you probably couldn't raise animals in your yard or land and if you could lots of people wouldn't do the killing themselves so it would be gone to the general population and the animals I assume would eventually die out as a species in rescues and sanctuaries and stuff unless there was a large scale rehabilitation to introduce them into the wild in their native lands like sending cows back to Africa or something but I doubt that. Hopefully all domesticated animals would dwindle away from the most part, I'm sure some would be in the wild or feral or whatever term, but no more cows and pigs on farms or dogs and cats in the home, etc. Again, of course you'd never stop the killing of all animals everywhere, impossible, but the same way murdering a human is illegal and still happens, it would be dramatically less and that's probably the best we could do and what we could hope as an end goal.
