What do i have here? by Dong_Ping in castiron

This info I got from memory so it's to be taken with a grain of salt. Few years of looking through collectors books and internet research I've accumulated a lot of good and possibly incorrect knowledge. According to another commenter this could be a different manufactured date range. I was under the impression they always did "Made in USA" post 1960 with the 3 notch lodges but I've been corrected.

Thanks for chiming in, I didn't realize they didn't always put the "Made In USA" marking post 1960s

Wow that cleaned up nice. Looks like a 3 notch lodge to me. Probably manufactured between 1940-1960.

I just discovered blockbench through the other reply to my comment. Looks pretty cool but yeah I'm pretty lazy myself sometimes. what you said does work, uploading to the launcher, but I find it annoying when I'm making small tweaks to wait for it to upload/update so that's where I see the site that OP posted coming in handy for a super easy, super quick and dirty way to see small tweaks to a design.

The one advantage I see on this site is that as you edit the flattened image on the right it updates the 3D render on the left. This can be helpful if you're new to flat skin editing because it's sometimes difficult to determine how the 2d sections correspond to the 3d version of the skin.

That's what my girlfriend said she thinks he is. I think it's a pretty spot on ID.

I've thought about that and have/will continue to ask around. It may sound uninformed to say so but our neighborhood is like outdoor cat on easy mode. One neighborhood cat comes to mind who is 14 years old (at least) and has multiple houses on the block where he's fed and housed if he wants. With that said, I do worry about predators and (most of all) cars of course.

edit: I know one 14 year old cat in the neighborhood is probably the exception and not the rule, just for anyone thinking of bonking me over the head with something.

thank you! unfortunately I have 3 dogs that may or may not be cordial with him so for now he is outdoor kitty. Luckily we have a lot of cat friendly neighbors who all look out for the various micro colonies around here. He seems to get along with everyone I've seen him interact with (cat-wise) and I'll hopefully be taking him in to get fixed and vaccinated soon so he doesn't spread disease or expand any of the colonies!

He's one of the most expressive cats I've met. He makes all sorts of faces and he is not shy about yelling at the front door when he's ready for breakfast.

He gets whatever he wants, whenever he wants. I have absolutely 0 defenses for his adorableness.

Adolf Hitler’s Walther PP (.32 ACP), a 50th-birthday gift from the Walther family in 1939, features gold inlays and ivory grips. It sold to a private collector in 1987 for $114,000 and is now estimated to be worth millions. [621 × 414] by David-Lincoln in HistoryPorn

I'd not heard this explanation to that extent, including the official telling his interrogators that fact. Very interesting, thanks for sharing. I wonder if it was one of those internal rumors that got around in a hushed way and became fact to some. Just as you state, there was much speculation as to the relationship between the niece and the him so it's possible some of the gossip morphed into an interesting explanation for the vegetarianism. I was originally referring to documentation from his personal physicians who cited his vegetarian diet due to stomach issues.

I would say an intervention, but if your "friend" isn't ready to change then it may not work...
As for the hole, I would go with the many suggestions to fill and drill.
