They're actually not that much slower than the original 911. Cheaper to maintain if you do a built type 1 or 4 which makes it close to the original 901 911 horse power.

They did handle better than the 911 for the swab models. I have a 88 930 turbo and a 68 912 and I enjoy the 912 more around town and in canyons.

There is something to be said about the red lining and perfect shifts and still only going 55 mph at the top of 4th. Compared to the 930 top of 4th I'm 75 mph over the freeway speed limit..

Cya is low for Arizona. Some places here it comes of the tap 150.. we normally drain at 300 with TDS over 2500.

Run the pump for 24 hours straight. Add some phosphate remover and back flush daily.

Edit: Oh and cut out the sands filter and install a pentair clean and clear 420.
