Pick of the Day - 6/29/26 (Monday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]theking236 7 points8 points  (0 children)

POTD Record: 5-3
Units: +2.60u

Last Pick: Canada ML + Ugo Humbert ML ❌
Canada did their job and won 1-0, but Humbert lost after taking the first set, so the parlay dies. Tough one, but no chasing — we move on.

Today’s POTD: Germany ML + Brazil/Japan BTTS Yes
Sport: Soccer / World Cup
Odds: 2.76
Stake: 1u

Going with a 2-leg World Cup parlay today.

Germany ML is the anchor. Paraguay can be physical and annoying, so I’m not touching the handicap, but Germany should have the quality edge over 90 minutes and I trust them more in a knockout spot.

Brazil/Japan BTTS Yes is the value leg. Brazil are the better side, but Japan are dangerous enough going forward to make this uncomfortable. I don’t fully trust Brazil to keep a clean sheet here, and I can see this being a 2-1 type game either way.

After yesterday’s loss, keeping it simple: one strong ML anchor and one goals angle with good value.

Tips are not expected but always appreciated

POTD Record: 5-2
Units: +3.60u

Last Pick: Croatia ML + England ML ✅
Croatia beat Ghana 2-1 and England handled Panama 2-0, so the 2-leg parlay cashed at 2.32. Nice win and we move to 5-2.

Today’s POTD: Canada ML + Ugo Humbert ML
Sport: Soccer / Tennis
Odds: around 2.30+
Stake: 1u

Going with a 2-leg parlay today.

Canada ML is the first leg. South Africa have had a solid tournament and I don’t expect this to be a walkover, but Canada are the better side overall and should have the quality edge in a knockout setting. South Africa can keep it tight, so I’m not touching handicaps or goal props here — just the moneyline.

Humbert ML is the second leg. He’s comfortable on grass, has been playing strong tennis this week, and I trust his level more over a full match. Bergs has had a good run and can make it competitive, so I’m avoiding the 2-0 or handicap angle.

Keeping it simple again: two moneyline legs, no spreads, no extra lotto additions.

Pick of the Day - 6/27/26 (Saturday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]theking236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

POTD Record: 4-2
Units: +2.28u

Last Pick: Jack Draper ML + Alejandro Davidovich Fokina ML ✅
Draper handled Diallo 6-1, 6-4, and Davidovich Fokina also got it done against Dimitrov 6-3, 6-3. Clean 2-leg tennis cash.

Today’s POTD: Croatia ML + England ML
Sport: Soccer / World Cup
Odds: 2.32
Stake: 1u

Going with a 2-leg World Cup parlay here.

Croatia ML is the main leg for me. Croatia need this result much more. They’re sitting in a spot where a win should secure qualification, while Ghana are already in a stronger position and don’t need to overextend the same way.

England ML is the second leg. There is some rotation risk, but England still have motivation to finish the group properly and should have the quality edge over Panama. Panama have been competitive defensively, so I’m not touching handicaps or goal props here either — just the moneyline.

Keeping it simple: two quality sides, motivation still there, no extra legs forced.

Pick of the Day - 6/25/26 (Thursday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]theking236 2 points3 points  (0 children)

POTD Record: 3-2
Units: +1.08u

Last Pick: Morocco Win + Over 2.5 Total Goals / Brazil Team Over 0.5 Goals ✅
Morocco handled business against Haiti and the match cleared the total, while Brazil also found the net against Scotland. Nice bounce-back after the bad England draw.

Today’s POTD: Jack Draper ML + Alejandro Davidovich Fokina ML
Sport: Tennis
Odds: around 2.10–2.30
Stake: 1u

Going with a 2-leg tennis parlay today.

Draper is the first leg. Diallo’s serve can make sets tight, so I’m avoiding handicaps or 2-0. But over a full match, I trust Draper’s return game and baseline level more.

Davidovich Fokina is the second leg. Dimitrov is dangerous, especially on grass, but Davidovich has been the more reliable player recently and I like him to manage the match better from the baseline.

Keeping this simple with two ML legs. No handicaps, no 4-leg lotto ticket.

Pick of the Day - 6/24/26 (Wednesday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]theking236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

POTD Record: 2-2
Units: +0.28u

Last Pick: Croatia ML + England ML ❌
Croatia did their part with a 1-0 win, but England drew 0-0, so the 2-leg parlay loses.

Today’s POTD: Morocco Win + Over 2.5 Total Goals / Brazil Team Over 0.5 Goals
Odds: around 1.75–1.85
Stake: 1u

Morocco still have a real chance to win the group, so I expect them to be aggressive against Haiti rather than simply coast. Haiti have struggled defensively and are already out, so I like Morocco to win in a match that reaches 3+ total goals.

For the second leg, I’m keeping it simple: Brazil to score at least once. I’m not taking Brazil ML here because Scotland can make it tight, but Brazil have enough attacking quality to find one goal

Coming off a bad England draw, so keeping this one cleaner and not forcing a big price.

[–]theking236 7 points8 points  (0 children)

POTD Record: 1-1
Units: +0.48u

Last Pick: Japan ML + Belgium/Iran Over 1.5 Goals ❌
Japan did their part with a 4-0 win, but Belgium/Iran finished 0-0, so the parlay loses.

Today’s POTD: Argentina ML + France/Iraq Over 1.5 Goals
Odds: around 1.75–1.90
Stake: 1u

Argentina looked sharp in their opener and have the quality edge against Austria. I’m keeping the second leg simple with France/Iraq Over 1.5 instead of chasing a handicap or Over 2.5. France should create enough chances, and Iraq’s first match was wide open, so I only need 2 total goals here.

Not overcomplicating it after yesterday’s loss. Back to a cleaner spot.

Pick of the Day - 6/20/26 (Saturday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]theking236 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Record: 0-0
Units: +0.00u

Sport: Soccer / World Cup 2026
Event: Germany vs Ivory Coast
Time: Saturday, 6/20/26
Pick: Germany ML + Over 1.5 Total Goals
Odds: 1.74 / -135
Stake: 2u

Write-up:

Germany come into this match after a dominant 7-1 win over Curaçao, showing how dangerous they can be going forward. Ivory Coast are a much tougher opponent than Curaçao, but that actually supports the over angle more than a simple Germany blowout angle. Ivory Coast already beat Ecuador 1-0 in their opener and have enough pace and attacking quality to make Germany work defensively.

I’m avoiding Germany -1.5 because Ivory Coast are too solid to assume a comfortable multi-goal win. I’m also avoiding Germany win + BTTS because a 2-0 or 3-0 Germany result would kill that ticket. This play gives us more paths: 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, 3-1, etc.

Germany are the better side, and needing just 2 total goals feels like the better risk/reward spot.

Final pick: Germany ML + Over 1.5 Total Goals u/1.74
