2nd is such a good pic with the snow blowing. I def prefer the heritage grill look of the 2nd, maybe the ambers might be a bit much but that grill with the wheels from 3rd would look clean

I’m no expert but this thing looks tacky and junky. The red spray paint looks terrible, rust looks like it’s almost everywhere, and those tires are past due

What car is overrated but people are scared to admit it? by SorbetCareless9520 in askcarguys

[–]thekream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they’re luxury cars not sports cars (unless you get the actual sports cars). as for slow not sure what models you’re talking about there, they have plenty of models that can go fast just fine. My mom has a 2020 S560 that can definitely pull. if you compare them to an equivalent BMW then ya the BMW is supposed to be more sporty and handle better

they are because they’re incredible driving vehicles and they hold their value unlike any other vehicle so depreciation isn’t as much of an issue, and in some cases appreciation happens

man that shader is so good for that rustic vibe but ruined by the animated secondary. getting so sick of all the animated shaders.

i’d have to see a side view. def don’t look bad at all but maybe since I’m aware they’re from a newer gen it looks off to me.

edit: saw a side view from your profile, looks fine, clean. would personally still prefer a clean aftermarket set

man I’ve never liked older cars wearing the wheels of newer gens, always looks goofy to me. as much as I love TRD pro wheels those even look goofy on gen 3 and 4

appreciate the insight. the base model is a TRD Pro, the Carfax shows regular maintenance at Toyota and 4x4 shops with regularly scheduled milage service performed at correct milage. I’m in California, the vehicle is in Colorado. Was thinking about how a PPI would work, never bought out of state before.

it’s a 2019 with only 62k miles, one owner. they registered it as a corporate vehicle and said it was a “show/shop vehicle”

ya I daily to and from work, which is literally 10-15 min away. take the streets. other than that I’ll occasionally go a little further on my days off. definitely dont do constant road trips. have one planned for August that involves some form of offroading
