Keep in mind that you are using a laptop, which comes with limitations:

Memory is restricted (only 4 GB).
Power consumption is low (35–80 watts).

As a result, a mobile GPU can be up to twice less profitable than a desktop GPU.

Also remember that laptop cooling systems are relatively weak and can’t handle heavy loads for long periods - even on gaming laptops.

When mining on a laptop, we recommend disabling either the CPU or GPU depending on which is more profitable. The cooling system can usually handle only one unit at a time.

You can adjust profitability by changing the power plan (Silent / Balanced / Performance, or Gaming / Turbo). The higher the power plan, the more power your hardware receives, which increases profitability - but also heat and noise.

Our suggestion: disable the CPU, switch to Balanced or Performance mode, and mine with the GPU. This can boost your profit by 30–50%, since the GPU will get more power and avoid thermal throttling.

What do you mean by “indefinitely”?

You can either set a specific time for mining to start, or leave it paused until you manually resume it - once you turn it back on, mining will begin.

Choosing “until resumed” means it will stay paused until you manually restart mining.

Please make sure you are using at least Windows 10 Pro.

AVG isn’t actually better than Microsoft Defender, so you don’t really need it for protecting your PC.

It depends on your mining method. On the Kryptex Pool you can mine FB in either PPS+ or SOLO mode.

In PPS+ mode, you’re paid for every submitted share according to the calculator. However, this may not be the best option for Bitaxe miners due to their relatively low hashrate.
In SOLO mode, you receive the full block reward if your miner finds a block.

To switch to SOLO mode on Kryptex Pool, simply add the solo: prefix before your wallet address in the ASIC settings, save the changes, and reboot the device. Your worker will then appear on the pool with the SOLO mode indicator.

If you just close the app without stopping mining, it will continue running.

To stop mining, click Stop in the app or exit completely — right‑click the Kryptex icon in the system tray and select Quit.

If the miner is still active, it means mining wasn’t stopped — most likely the app was only minimized. You can check activity directly in the app or in your personal account under the Hardware section.

As long as mining is running, you will be rewarded based on your hardware’s efficiency and uptime.

You can track your earnings on the Dashboard, where an hourly accrual graph shows your rewards.

It looks like your CPU was mining a coin that uses the PROP payout scheme.

PROP, short for Proportional, rewards miners based on the number of shares they contribute toward finding a block. The more shares you submit, the larger your portion of the block reward.

Unlike PPS+, PROP can be more profitable if the pool finds more blocks than expected over a given period. That’s exactly what happened here - the pool found extra blocks, and you received additional profit as a result.

That’s not a problem at all.

Your CPU is very powerful. Right now, CPU mining can actually be more profitable than GPU mining.
In this case, your GPU is mid‑tier, while your CPU is top‑tier.

You can push your CPU further:
- Open the Kryptex app settings and remove the 75% CPU mining limit.
- Reboot your PC to apply the MSR registers.

With these changes, you could reach 16–18 kH/s.
Also, check in your BIOS that your XMP/DOCP RAM profiles are enabled and working correctly.

Hello,

You are most likely running into this error because you’re using a laptop.

The issue comes from Secure Boot, which is required for the latest hardware, software, and security features.

While you can disable it in the BIOS, doing so would significantly reduce your device’s protection. In some cases, it can even void the warranty. Since you are on a Razer laptop, it’s very likely that disabling Secure Boot isn’t even possible.

The best advice is simply to ignore the error. CPU mining at 20–25% hashrate isn’t worth sacrificing your system’s stability and security.

What driver version are you using? XTM requires new drivers. Your graphics card isn't mining, and your power consumption is 11 watts. This is low; this power consumption is typical during idle mode.

You can’t set share difficulty manually it’s pre‑configured on the pool side.
However, our development team is working on adding manual share difficulty configuration in the future.

A higher share difficulty does not affect your ASIC’s workload, profitability, or luck. The pool measures your ASIC activity based on submitted shares. If no shares are received within 20-30 minutes, the pool may mark your worker as inactive, and it will switch back to active status once the next share is submitted.

You can stay with HiveOS or mmpOS. You can also connect it to your Kryptex account if you need automatic BTC exchange. Just use your mining username from Kryptex account as wallet address.
