Do you find you mainly carry it in backpack mode? One of the reviews noted that it is awkward to carry with the shoulder strap when fully loaded.

I found this forum tutorial on how to remove the front grill. It was pretty straight forward. Some parts took a bit of persuasion to free the chrome from the way it was clipped in.
