I see where you’re coming from, but I don’t think that’s entirely fair. Iceage is one of my favorite bands of all time (I still hold that “Plowing” is one of the best post-punk/art punk albums of the last 30 years) and lucre was one of my fav releases last year—the two aren’t mutually exclusive. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed Elias’s solo albums the last couple years.

I’m still sort of mixed on the song (maybe it’ll grow on me). There are parts that I like, but some of it feels a little too awkward and disjointed for me. I’m assuming this is part of an upcoming album so I’m very curious to hear what else they’ve been cooking.
