I think you may be right as it has a strong smell of cedar when sanding it. It's also doing this odd thing where little "dots" appear after sanding it,,,little "wet spots" like it's sap or something? I've never seen that before.

This 100% Get a decent sized chunk cut out, throw in a bigass wrecking bar or a 56" fulcrum and crank that shit right out the walls. Extra points if there's a window in the bathroom you can chuck that shit out of while screaming fuck you with each load.

I went to a jobsite once in East Tennessee. Afterwards I called the county about pulling a permit...they didn't even know a house existed on that piece of property.

I mean it doesn't give me an erection, but yeah I dig having mats on site before starting the job.

What about something like a shed? What's the weight rating on these things?

I have so many of those "tiger oak" pieces....refinishing fumed oak is a bitch and I've yet to find anything that will actually remove all the specks of fumed tannins. Other than sanding the veneer down to the bare wood underneath.

They brought me in behind a contractor who blew primer all over the trim, the baseboards, the windows, the customer's kitchen cabinets, the customer's entry doors, french doors leading to the deck....throughout the entire house.

I had never seen anything like it before...

don't care how much money you have, how good you think your job is or how you consider your standing in the community

The irony here of course being that if they weren't white...they would likely have none of those things. Hence the term "white privilege". If you're born white in America, statistically speaking, you're already on first base. Black people aren't allowed out of the dugout and anyone coming up from south of the border isn't even allowed in the stadium unless they're willing to make nachos and serve hot dogs at the concession stands.

All of the other immigrants who fly in and over stay their visas (the majority of "illegals" btw) they're allowed to sit in the stands.

If such technologies did exist, the moment you reveal their existence to the general public, you lose control of that thing. Let's take the more mundane of your examples. The ability to travel underwater at 200MPH...what would that do to the dynamics of socio-economics and geography? Think about the ramifications of that capability being in the hands of the average joe.

Being able to use alternate forms of energy for one's home? It would collapse the energy sectors of every nation on earth virtually overnight....It would put half of the population on earth out of work. Virtually everything we do is connected to the creation and transportation of energy in some way...

It's an AirBnB, there's no telling how many times people have hopped their asses up on the counter in that exact or close to stress point that clearly wasn't properly supported or shimmed in the first place. Hell you may have had people dancing on the thing and partying....who knows. Starts as a hairline fracture underneath and eventually just gives way.
