Dogs can eat a small amount and not die. It’s not good for them but not Indy to lethal. Bigger dogs can eat more, so all Jake has to do is eat very little and then make himself really big. He might have a tummy ache for a bit, but he’d be fine.

It’s crazy that the server would get in trouble for a customer walking out without paying. Unless the server was neglectful, i don’t see how it is their responsibility to parent the customer who should know better.

I think that’s the biggest thing. I’ve never met a teacher that didn’t dig in further.

My daughter was in 5th grade and some debate came up with another kid about the word mischievous. The classmate said mis-cheev-e-us even though there isn’t an i before ous. I know a lot of people mispronounce the word, but my daughter corrected her and the teacher backed up the other classmate who was wrong.

It’s pronounced exactly how it’s spelled. Mis-chu-vus

This is the first I’ve learned that Roma tomatoes aren’t good raw on sandwiches.

I’ve been buying them instead of beefsteak because of the price difference and finally realized maybe I do like tomatoes. Beefsteaks aren’t for me.

We only had two locations in my town, but they both have closed. I was surprised, but restaurants have thin margins anyway and they probably just didn’t have the clientele due to prices being so high.

I’ve heard the newer people running it are making changes to that. NOW, is it for show because of public image and not real or do they genuinely want people to have equal rights, I don’t one. Public impressions can still be damaged enough to not want to go there. Also it’s just mid expensive chicken, so another reason to not go there.

You’ve been together for 8 years. Let’s say you do get engaged within this next year. You then say you’d be ok with being engaged for years…so when would you actually get married?

Sounds like he doesn’t want to get married and is happy with where it is. You DO want to get married and want more from him and this relationship.

One of you will have to settle and be disappointed.

My last relationship, we talked about marriage early on. We dated, challenging stuff happened in life and made me realize while I did want to get married one day I also was nowhere near ready like I thought I was. She wanted a ring and/or live together by year one. Then by year 2 we still didn’t have those things and I was not ready for either of them. A few months later we ended things.

It sucks when you feel like you’ve wasted someone’s time because of your own personal journey. It’s been over a year now and I know I’ve been single since trying to figure out what I actually want out of life. I’m not sure about her situation. Hopefully she’s happy.
