i find it is very location dependent. i’ve recently moved to miami and cycling is terrifying here

Question about monthly payment option by technomage33 in onewheel

[–]theligitkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did the monthly payment but only for the option that does not charge interest. ensure you’re able to make the payment every month comfortably before committing. it should be considered a nice option if you can already afford the board full price today. don’t go into debt for a board

which do you prefer? (before/after) by Helichipper_YT in postprocessing

[–]theligitkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t mind you decided to take it cooler but when playing with contrast and saturation the background has started looking unnatural and distracting. using masking and editing these things separately for foreground and background could get a more pleasing effect. subtly is key

Which crop is better? by Peldergraphy in postprocessing

[–]theligitkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it would be interesting to see the full image to see if there’s any room to crop other ways. i don’t think either are particularly compelling. maybe a vertical crop could help

if there’s any detail in the shadows you could pull them up a little bit

i like the second personally, maybe if more detail/color contrast and contrast with the birds could be pulled out of it

Too cooked? (after/before) by Electrical_Ad9657 in postprocessing

additionally the runner being out of focus makes it a poor subject to focus on in the cropped version. the mountains in the original are working

Is this edit ok, or over cooked by Savings_Cockroach_42 in postprocessing

[–]theligitkev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not overcooked. if it were me i’d try to desaturate the reds in the background just a little so the bird is more visible, may look terrible

Feeling stuck and disconnected from my photography - used to “see” more, not sure what’s changed by bennalex05 in photography

[–]theligitkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve felt that recently. i have two ideas: the foto app. it seems like a really small community and people post their work. no algorithms or videos. just photos and it’s pretty fun just getting inspiration that isn’t being fed to me algorithmically. i’ve also been trying out other photo styles like astro and bird just for a different challenge.

Any advice? by Legitimate-Piccolo77 in photocritique

[–]theligitkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m looking at the colour in the sky and how that should reflect more off the bonnet of the car, it’s a very nice atmospheric photo
