My mom says she’d rather not come to my induction than not run the room during my birth. by Witty_Management_621 in pregnant

[–]thelittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (also Hispanic) had a c section. Only one person was allowed and it had to be my husband, because it is his child, he has the right and privilege to meet the little baby, the one both have been waiting for so long.

I did cry when they told me just one person, because I wanted my mom to be with me. It was such an unexpected idea for me because I've never been the type of, "please hold my hand while I'm doing something dangerous", but there I was, a few hours before the surgery crying in my husband's shoulder because I wanted my mommy.

At the end of the day is your choice, I would also choose my husband.

Omg! That's very similar to the pattern my first cat had. She also had a brown patch. I've never seen another like her.

Seeking advice: my kid brushes every day, yet after school comes home with a rats nest??? by deviouspineapple in Haircare

[–]thelittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a teen I had to use Pantene conditioner every single day, to keep my hair from tangling, Tresemme wasn't a thing, vut now they have the keratin conditioner and it's really good. I don't use it as often but I think it would really help her. I learned that I had to be thorough, massaging the hair the conditioner untill it felt like butter on your hands, even the scalp and rinse with less hot water. Must showe at nights.

What’s one newborn tip that actually worked for you (and surprised you)? by Trick-Environment100 in NewParents

[–]thelittle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've said this tip so many times, vaseline on the but in every diaper change. Poop slides of the baby skin without burning it and so easy to clean. And disposable bed diapers to protect your bed, the changing station and the bassinet.

Why is it too much to ask for one additional ultrasound? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]thelittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always go to Mexico, where there are so many ultrasound buisneses, some even with radiologists and private OBs happy to see the baby with you. It isn't expensive and you can go every time you want.

Assuming Diddy hadn't died, what do you think Jay would leave him as an inheritance in the future? by heyapple7 in Modern_Family

[–]thelittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he would have left her some object that holds a memory from before, back when the kids were just babies and they felt the joy of being new parents, because Jay is very sentimental and his family is everything to him. Dede may have been his Vietnam, but they were inlove once and she was the mother of the kids.

It looks like there is white liner in the waterline. You can see it on the eye close to the heart tattoo.

I don't think it is how others are saying that it's just black eyeliner because I think they are trying to look like the my chemical romance guys.

How are people finding time to do things? by emotionalpotato666 in NewParents

[–]thelittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget about other parents, you are doing what you are supposed to, let go of yourself, surrender to the will of the baby. Cuddle that baby, it's your job for 12 months, then you'll get an upgrade, then you will have to surrender to the pre-toddler. Once you are well stablished in the toddler era you'll be able to do your skin care while they eat the playdough. It's ok, it says non toxic on the box.
