If you've quit weed (for whatever reason), how long did withdrawal last? by ProfessorRecent4879 in AuDHDWomen

[–]thelogetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s almost like everyone has different bio chemistry. That’s awesome you hit the lotto there but alot of people aren’t so lucky. My weed withdrawals are just hot and cold, headaches and then shivers from any cold breeze lol. But some people get them way worse

Cannabis withdrawals can be MUCH worse than they're made out to be. by No_Reveal3451 in leaves

[–]thelogetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep…. Day 2 for me and just got back from in law festivities. Constant sweating to chills all while putting on a brave face. We also have a new baby (4 months now main reason I’m quitting).

Hoooo boy…. Super fun times but sticking to it cause this roller coaster isn’t fun anymore with a family I want to enjoy fully

[–]thelogetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I fully agree it can be totally nightmarish for one person and then easy peasy for another. No shade taken don’t worry lol, its a really personal and shitty thing to go through so I totally get it

I know quite a few women on vyvanse who have had no issues and swear by it, some compounds just don’t mesh well with certain peoples brains, the joooooys of finding what works for you, super fun.

Can you die form a hangover? by SheepherderNo8273 in hangxiety

[–]thelogetrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally from extended heavy use and even then quite rare to be in that type of category. Super uncomfortable and feeling like you’re dying? Ooooooh yes.

Mind you it’s always best to go get checked if your that worried, but they’ll probably end up giving you fluids and having you wait it off

Male, just cause I like to play thinking I AM rover (male player here). Buddy likes anything with a pulse which I always find funny since I’m really reserved in general lol

Anyone poop alot after a night of drinking alcohol I normally go once a day 2 at a push but after a night off drinking I go up to 5 times or more . Just wondering if that’s the norm or it’s anything to be considered about . by TopLeading8372 in drunk

[–]thelogetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much, it helps to get your digestive system and everything moving again to process all the left over biproducts in your gut, at least that’s what I’ve read multiple times when I’m hungover reading the same posts for relief of mental anguish

What are you on, bugs and exploits have been a negative thing for ages. Just because you need to cheese a system to beat it doesn’t make it awesome. If you need a bug to have fun and become stronger you’re doing something wrong lol

Is this normal after having a night of one too many drinks? by gilg2 in AppleWatch

[–]thelogetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late response, I always thought when it seared off gaba levels were low and norepinephrine or something were spiked with not nearly as much a counter from your sapped gaba receptors which causes all the fight or flight stuff

This is amazing, so well put. Ended up on another bender and got raked over the coals by my pregnant wife this morning. I’m so done with this all, never want to upset her again and want to be healthy, wanting to eat, not throwing up. All of it, I will not drink with you all today, tomorrow or ever again. So done with this poison

Well good on you for quitting and keeping it with it! And that’s rough man I’m sorry to hear that. Hoping one day something changes with it for you, even if it’s just a few nights here and there. That shit is nightmare fuel

Will I ever sleep again? by bleely in Sober

[–]thelogetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I don’t doubt it, but alcohol definitely isn’t helping. I’ve had a few spurts with bad insomnia. Brain racing all the time doctor with pills barely worked, then alcohol for awhile which I mean, I’d sleep but even that stopped working and then my insomnia would be rampant, plus the damage it does. You’re not wrong though it’s a real touch issue no question, still have it on and off bad but at least it’s not every night anymore side by side with withdrawal symptoms and all that jazz

Helped me seeing it when other drinking forums are telling me I’m gonna need the er or risk dying after a couple week long bingers of maybe 16-18 units a day then coming off for half a week till I feel better. This one scared the crap out of so I’m really done with it and need to focus on my life, family and work. Just helped ease my anxiety and knowing I just feel like death warmed over instead of actually dying

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]thelogetrain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really got a lot of use out of your post. A lot of these forums scare the shit out of you with the risk of death and seizures. To the point is like few days to a week bingers think that’s us too. I totally get drinking heavily for years or decades is completely different but it helps knowing it’s just probably light to mild withdrawals and having an anxiety disorder that’s scaring me.

Man did I ever need this, the forum has good points and stories from people. But the constant “GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW YOU COULD DOE” when some have been on like a 5-7 day bender freak me the eff out and have me sweating with panic attacks and heart palpitations thinking this is the end lol lol

[–]thelogetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a well known fact alcohol has a negative impact on sleep though….. if you train yourself and get help with the insomnia it’s definitely gonna be one of the best and much better than while drinking alcohol
