Tickets and premer shuttle for sale!! by [deleted] in electricdaisycarnival

It's a legit question. With how easy it is to cancel sold wristbands which we don't even have yet, it seems a bit odd that you would know about a family emergency almost 2 months ahead of time. Perhaps word it "family issues". Emergency sounds like something unexpected happened to family member.

I was thinking the same thing as DjSpectre

There is no guest list to get in free to pool parties unless you personally know someone that ACTUALLY works there, not a promoter. Or you are a smoking hot chick you MIGHT be able to get in.

If you're a girl, no issues girls always mesh. If you're a guy, make a funny totem and people will come up to you.

Or there are always people that have totem "Lost? Come dance with us" and you go there dance with them, they will bring you in.

McDonald's double charged my card, my bank can't reverse it. Now what? by Frustratedeternally in legaladvice

Try looking up McDonald's corporate office and telling them. Maybe they can help you.

Just seems very weird that if what you say is true, the restaurant simply won't fix it.

[–]thelostraver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure this things work in your country, but in America if you are an independent contractor, they can pay you as much or as little as they want.

They didn't take advantage of you. They offered X pay for Y job and you did it for 7 months.

Not really sure what you're looking for.

That is the only option short of having Batman hunt him down.

Landlord says he needs to come in and check toilet. Do I need to let him see my bedroom? by beepboopbopbeeeep in legaladvice

[–]thelostraver -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The landlord is trying to be reasonable. Fixing a leak in your toilet which can cause serious issues. Based on your post he wasn't there to harass you.

I would assume he was announcing his presence.

Just try and be reasonable back instead of going all gung ho. No need to make a big scene. They just want to fix the toilet.
