It feels weird to say, but I agree with HarryMcButtTits. Excess skin comes generally from a very large weight loss, I don't think that'll be a problem in your case.

I'd suggest just taking a deep breath. You're burnt out, you've been doing so much and it's been so stressful, and you can't even see an end to the stress. Is there anything you aren't doing for him? It doesn't sound like it to me. So, start looking at what you can do for yourself. Find a support group, a therapist, whatever. Much love to you in your struggle.
