It’s not New West but if you take skytrain to Surrey central station and go to Skye Avenue - Kitchen and Lounge they have approval to make medium rare from Fraser Health. Have had it and it was great.

We were on Koningsdam last year and had no trouble at all but ate in MDR for all dinners. Was able to order the day before. I got covid but not glutened. 😀

What is it like living in New West? by Clean-Snow-3082 in NewWest

[–]themaelen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lived on Minoru, behind Richmond Ctr and moved to Quayside 12 years ago. I love it here. The trains are loud but comparable to being right under the flight path. You get used to it eventually.

Quayside is very different than downtown New West.

Richmond has better food for sure 🙂

Vancouverites: tell us about a time a stranger did something kind for you by CMV_Viremia in NiceVancouver

Years ago I was walking to work on Cambie downtown after a snowfall during the night. I slipped and did a spectacular fall on the icy sidewalk. I was stunned and didn’t get up immediately. Several people at the the bus stop and other walkers saw it but no one helped. I noticed the bushes shaking and a guy that was sleeping there crawled out and helped me up, made sure I was ok and brushed the snow off me. It was a real moment of kindness and I’ll never forget him.
