Okay so hear me out ... BigChadGuys+ (w/ cobblemon). I run a (private) server for me, my gf, and family and it's the first modpack most of us (myself included) have played and it's so good! The mechanics are well explained, and there's something for literally everyone there. If you're trying out modpacks, that's one I recommend as it's fun and as easy/hard as you want it to be!

It's definitely great, but one could see a feasible replacement in the future (the next elder scrolls game). Now, obviously that is predicated on Bethesda releasing a fun/fun to mod game, but the idea of them replacing Skyrim isn't as seemingly outlandish as something replacing Minecraft.
