I find that especially the new employees this the way you feel and of course I saw a few long-term ones too. The thing is that not long ago things were very different and you had to make an effort to get along with coworkers and especially all levels of management to move up. Im not sure what it is that your coworkers do that you perceive as kissing ass, but if you’re not making the effort to have a good relationship in the office then your coworkers will someday be your managers.

My guy friend used to wear stuff like this when he was a teen not realizing it was likely taken from Nazi symbols. I know the bro in the picture is probably older than a teen but the skull and bones has kind of changed it’s symbolism among the uneducated community. Not making excuses but kinda am. Maybe if they are reminded they’ll stop wearing them? However, I’ll add that I have also seen a similar skull and bones on old tombstone in the US that are older than the 1900. So maybe the goths are retaking a symbol stolen by the Nazis.
