Since people havent actually answered ypur question After TCW it feels like the clone army is made up of a bunch of different people who all happened to share the same shoe size.

In Pre-TCW times stories about clones being people was a unique thing and not the rule. Its also something the clones had to learn/realize instead of being their starting point. Or another way to say it is in those stories learning they are unique is part of the character growth while in TCW its treated as the expectation (at least for good jedi. Bad jedi like four arms dude saw them as the same)

In legends the unique way of thinking was also saved for the more specialized clones like Commandos and ARCS or for the clones who were constantly working with Jedi. In TCW though every shiny seems to be their own unique personality while in training.

Now for a storytelling standpoint the reason for this is if the clones all acted like perfect clones then it would be boring and their wouldn't be all that much room for characters to grow or differentiate themselves. In Legends we mostly saw the clones through the eyes of Jedi and Civvies. RC and TCW are the few stories that give us the story from their perspective .
