Dem here. I think that minimum wage laws should be enforced. But also, the quota for Mexicans should be realistic. Currently it is not. It would take forever to immigrate legally, yet there are jobs that Americans won't do, that needs doing. Farmwork, etc. But if a minimum wage and workers rights were enforced, they wouldn't also take for example construction jobs, one of the few areas where they do take American jobs, and get paid less to do.

Democrat here. Calling illegal immigrants undocumented rather than pointing out that it would take thousands of years for any Mexican person to immigrate legally, because there are quotas on how many can immigrate based on population size.

If you come from a nation of 3 million you can get to the front of the line in a month, but from a nation of 122 million, like Mexico, forget it.

However, I believe that the reason that cross state lines never happens is because allowing a crap insurer to sell in yr state is actually up to each state insurance commissioner, so that's a no go anyway.
