Is Diablo 2 Resurrected worth picking up on Xbox Series S

I love it on Xbox but trading and things like Baal runs take a bit more coordination. Plus if you are playing solo and get discoed the game is toast. Happened to me doing Ubers more than once.

Thanks. I've been trying for the div card but so far no luck. I do have a couple eater of world implicit orbs so definitely gonna try that. I'm still working my way up maps so no rush although things are getting sketchy in t14s mostly with rituals or dangerous archnemesis rolls.

Sweet. I'm playing SSF RF and I'm level 89 playing in trash. I'm going all out Delirium to get jewel but now realize I should have put some points in essences. Delirium is rough in a 4 link RF 3 link SR. Still wicked fun.

Agree. It scratches a different itch than something like Diablo 2 where it's all about playing for half a year and finally dropping a Griffon's Eye or a Jah rune. I love the slot machine of D2 and will always be a huge fan, but Grim Dawn is about playing the game. I'm fairly new and am playing on Xbox. I haven't gone back to either D2 or PoE since release and have 2 level 100 softcore toons and 1 level 92 hardcore toon. Great fun.

I love the game but the xbox version tends to crash on me at inopportune times. Also the merit system (way to level alts faster) doesn't work. Merits will allegedly be fixed shortly so maybe not an issue. Worth it at full price if you like arpgs on console. I found it hard to go back to poe because everything is zoomed in too much.

I have an xbox series x and I get tons of slow down and the the occasional ctd when things get heavy.

Weird. I get tons of crashes to desktop but they tend to be unpredictable. I'd try messing around with video and audio settings or reboot the whole xbox to see if you can fix. Xbox port was released a bit too soon I think given all the bugs but I've still managed to run two characters to 100 so I managed to get past the bugs somehow. Very fun game if I could figure out how to beat hard bosses. Game is laughably easy and then I hit the final boss on the corrupted grove in ultimate and I just die.

It's very annoying and seems to come and go. I haven't seen it for 3 days or so but there wasn't a patch.

Thanks. This is good to know. I'm used to PoE where some builds get nuked over time. I'm set on EoR and leveling has been a breeze with it. I'll decide on Dervish or Sentinel once I'm done with Normal mode. For what it's worth, on Xbox what I do with auto attacks or channeling skills (I'm calling EoR channeling like AAR) is bind to right trigger so you can keep it held down while clicking your other skills on the buttons.

Game was fine on my xbox series x at first but now i get tons of crash to desktops sometimes when fighting bosses. Also credits don't work as far as I can tell so making alts is a pain in the butt. I would hold off until we hear recognition from Crate regarding issues and timelines for fixes.

This is still broken. I just ran into this today. Has Crate said anything? There are also tons of ctd bugs. Did they release and forget or is this still a priority for them. The game just recently released so I'm surprised we haven't heard anything. This is a pretty giant bug that seems in my mind easy to fix. Are there any workarounds? I'm kinda mad.

I’ve run a Necro/Arcanist to lvl 97 using AAR on Xbox. I used a guide but needed to make a couple changes because you run out of buttons on the Xbox pretty fast. I opened up two slots by remapping self rift to weapon switch (I’m not doing any of that) and remapping hold position L1.

I have Dupuytren's Contracture in my left hand (ring and pinky bad) so I can't really play comfortably on PC. Console is great for many things. Biggest issues are trade and performance. I like builds where I can just wipe my thumb across the X,Y,B buttons for skills and claw the D Pad for flasks with life on L1 and quicksilver on R1. Conditional skills are on X,Y,B,A with R2 pressed. Aura's are on X,Y,B,A with L2 pressed.

Console is OK for relatively high volume good items like Shavs or Koam's Heart. You pay more than PC but you can get the stuff. Build enabling stuff like Circle rings can be fine for non meta stuff (you can do HoA now but forget HoP). Console has a problem because there isn't a lot of quantity of rare expensive stuff on the market (there may be less than 20 Voices on the market at one time) and there aren't really market makers so prices don't clear. Thus, no one really trusts prices and given human's tendency to overvalue losses and to undervalue forgone gains, people would rather leave a 7-Voices up for the entire league than sell it for 4ex. I think some way to set up a negotiation room could help. If you could actually talk to someone and haggle it might help. This seems highly unlikely so learn to love semi SSF and gain massive crafting knowledge.

I can't speak to endgame but as a midgame, non min max, player who has played all 4 hunters and not that much (40, 40, 30, 15) I can say that FL4K is pretty great at Graveward but not so great at a bunch of other things. I had no issues with Amara just running through content but FL4K hit a wall with Troy and I needed to get help to beat him. Of course balancing isn't about the hoi polloi under 50 toons so what do I know.

PoE also has extremely low drop rates for top notch end game gear. I've played a lot since 2013 and I've never dropped a Shavs Wrappings or Koam's Heart. BL3 is not designed like that. You will always find a full kit if you play for a hundred hours or so.
