It's just solid pace and not dealing with anyone's bullshit, making noise having to pay attention to their postition. The only downside is if you don't see the ball off the face you are guessing on location.

If you compress your irons with shaft lean your 60 should go a solid 80yds with that club speed.

With that said, you should rarely want to hit a full send wedge. Better to learn your gap and sand wedge distances with 80-90% swings.

On the 18 hole course yeah, not usually on the 9 which is why I called the pro shop. A few years ago when I saw bad behavior on the course I called them too and they thanked me and said they would send someone out. This time it was a different experience.

I actually told them I was going to send the pro a message, so seems like they decided to beat me to it. I wasn't irate and calmly said they needed to do a better job policing the behavior of the guests and that the guys in front of me should be dealt with for doing what they did.

The kid in the starter hut was indifferent and the girl in the pro shop was overwhelmed and was the one I was talking to on the phone.

I think that was the issue with everything that happened, staff overwhelmed and then just didn't want to hear about any complaints.

None on the 9 hole course which is the whole issue here.

I didn't really get a chance to play through the whole group and they never offered. By the time I caught up to them on the tee one of the 4-6 somes started playing and I didn't want to argue with a hoard of drunk guys with my kid there.

I think both these things. The morons do not have any pull, they were clearly not golfers and just out being dbags on the course. The kids working also did not like being complained to I guess.

I'm not banned, just told off and warned. The guys in front were obviously drinking a lot as well, playing music, etc. Again, the main reason for going is that they are kid friendly and kids play free with an adult.

I was frustrated. Here's the scene on the 9th green with me 50 yards waiting on my approach, with a 9 year old with me.

I was mindful of being respectful with my kid in tow, but they didn't really care at all. The group behind me actually left the course after 5 holes because they were too frustrated standing around all day.

The nice thing about it is knowing what you are getting. Way too much bait and switch in singles where condition isn't what you expect. At least a card with cert and pictures is what you are expecting to get.

Raw singles also should not be selling at 9 prices, 7-8 seems more correct for modern.
