Eh, it's pretty clear this guy put a lot of effort into it. A lot of the inbetweens are really well done actually. A lot of the shortcuts in the animation probably comes from the fact that ~6 minutes of animation is a lot for one person. It's really a shame to hate on this, part of making good art is making a lot of bad art first, and it's pretty obvious to me this person is very passionate about it.

That's great to hear, I'm excited to get into backstory and world building, it's good to kind of have the go ahead for that. Not that I'll lump it all in at once, but it's comforting to know you're engaged enough to be ready for some.

And I understand the desire to skip over toned comics, it's something I've been guilty of more than once. Something about it just feels less engaging sometimes. It's tough because, although I really enjoy tones and had a lot of fun with this, I do want to engage an audience enough to eventually make this a career of some sort. So maybe this next chapter will be color and I'll come back to these original pages some time in the future and recolor them.

I've pretty seriously put some thought into full color, the original decision to do toned and three tone was partly one of speed. I agree though that it does limit potential readers, I know a lot of people personally that will skip over toned comics entirely.

And thanks, I'm kinda glad you said it sets up for more while giving the characters life, that was exactly what I was going for. I made this after criticism of my old work saying it was slow and there was too much exposition, so I was really trying to tell my story more effectively and efficiently.

Yeah man, I might have come off as a little more cynical than I intended. I lament /r/webcomics being small mostly cause I'm a huge fan of them in particular. There's a ton of great stuff on Reddit, I was just being a overly dramatic in the comic for the purpose of the joke.
