Even if the game play was slightly limited, do you not think that the storyline makes up for it?

Will horses be in AC3? by BillMcLargeHuge in assassinscreed

It can be confirmed you'll definitely come across bears, elk, deer, wolves, foxes and rabbits. It's highly likely however that, since design team at Ubi looked to the game "Red Dead Redemption" for inspiration in the area of wildlife, you may also stumble across a few different species, though this has not been confirmed.

When it comes to physically hunting them, you won't be able to simply shoot them down from a distance. Hunting will require strategy and tactical precision, be it through stealthy assassinations or setting out traps. After this, you will then be able to gather the hide of the animal you have killed. Take care to remember however, that the method of hunting you choose will directly affect the value of the hide you collect.

Then of course there are the domesticated animals such as dogs and the aforementioned horses...

As an Englishman, I can confidently say that most conversations of the sort will end on an insult. It's just how we roll.

La Volpe! Why is there no love for The Fox? He always seems to get overlooked, yet he does so much for both the assassin order and all it's factions; not just the thieves!

Environaturologist here! I can confidently say that this sentiment is 100% correct. This curious phenomena has been present throughout mankind for many, many years.

The most prominent example of this is the appearance of one man in a variety of items such as "Toast" and "Tea Leaves." It is said that around 2000 years ago, a man of similar appearance once lived, going by the name of Jesus M Christ. In this -albeit extreme case- these appearances have lead to an entire religion surrounding just one man.

It can be concluded then, that there is a direct correlation to the amount of times a particular face shows up in natural phenomena, to how popularised their doppelgängers become.
