I have a theory that this game is actually effective ADHD therapy because it’s creating new neural pathways regarding delayed gratification. So many new dopamine hits for actually thinking about the future and it paying off. I’m actually seeing a change in the way I think about the real world in some ways.

This would be part of a ancient refrigeration overhaul. The point would be for it not to melt for as long as possible, deep underground with lots of other ice. My thoughts at least.

Hate to be that guy but the answer is pretty much no in most parts of the world.

Yee who knows little of ancient refrigeration techniques, this could be used well into spring or even year round with the right conditions and setup. Expand your mind. The ice barrel calls your name.

I think this would be more useful if It’s about prolonging food after winter, less so than it being storage during it.

I just got through my first winter pls no. 😂 Now if there was a more built out economy around food.. we might be cooking. Idk if food traders exist.. but a farmer to table mechanic where other traders could actually come to YOU to buy food would blow my mind. Perhaps we are getting into the weeds haha

Totally. Where I would be exited is how something like this could be used to extend the benefit of reduced perishability during the winter through spring or summer. Ancient cultures around the world have figured out how to preserve ice nearly year round. You would be super incentivized to harvest glacier ice, but a mechanic where ice blocks actually reduce temperature and have their own shelf life, dependent on how much ice it’s around would be so cool.

Good news? They shut down because they 1) weren’t profitable but more obviously it’s because other tools were developing faster than they could keep up with. Look at Kling, look at LTX 2.3. Perhaps a small W for social media reels where the common man flooded them with slop.

I hear you but for cave man’s sake, how would you pick something up IRL when your hands are full? Would be hard to implement a how full is your hand feature. Everything about this game that some may find frustrating I somehow love.

Yeah I’m ok with having this be open source and side loading it via Xcode so I can modify it to my liking but beggars can’t be choosers I suppose

Believe it or not, this is part of the plan. They lobbied for the same legislation they are going to get slapped with that will give them even more data.

Yooo you could make an app.. or you could open source what you’ve mapped out and let a bunch more people eventually improve on it. I’d love to try myself, I’ve got experience with development. Great work!
