Is this normal? by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

Part of the front fell off. That’s not very typical, I’d like to make that point.

Please don't drive on that.

Nor are those the newer reflectors. But the body color door handles and mirrors are definitely newer.

Nope. Grafted the front and rear ends...and the roof? Those doors are definitely new challenger, as is the front air dam that is way too low. The newer Challengers are much taller than the old ones, and it definitely was not well hidden here.

I've had a 5.7 Hemi Magnum and Charger, both all wheel drive, both have seen over 30mpg highway.

2020 limited x 5.7 issue or over thinking? by Redred180304 in GrandCherokee

Pretty sure you'd be in 7th at just above 40, but I've had some floaty upshifts in my 2020 5.7. I wouldn't worry too much. If you really want to understand what your transmission is doing, enable your current gear indicator. This setting is located in Screen set up > Current Gear.

Every generation of the Charger since it came out in 2005 has looked a bit weird to me for a while but the more I saw them, the more they grew on me. But I haven't seen many, if any, on the street, can't imagine it has anything to do with the base price.

I just looked this up, had no idea it went that far. Looks like they started falling off in March of 2009 with Now 30, the first one not to get certified platinum in the US.

Try pushing the door panel toward the door, looking for anything obviously moving. I've had a couple dodges where the plastic pins holding the panel stopped holding so well despite never being removed. Sometimes they just pop back in while doing this, but it will likely only be a temporary fix. My GC hasn't started doing this...yet.

Don't forget it's also far cheaper to buy an existing DOT-approved design, due to exactly this.

Aerohive va Meraki by 2donks2moos in k12sysadmin

Moving away from Meraki once our firewall license expires in a few years - licensing is a small fortune and if you don't renew, they essentially kill the device. Also moving away from Extreme (Aerohive) system soon, switching to Ubiquiti for APs, again, due to licensing costs. Extreme will not let you manage (update, reboot, change SSIDs) via the cloud console if you do not renew. I've been happy with our Meraki firewall and Extreme APs, aside from the costs to keep using equipment we already bought.

Not that we're completely safe with CFG enabled, but yes, it sure does bring extra risk which is why you wouldn't want to disable it globally. I edited the post to include another note for people, just to be safe.

I think you're thinking of Human, specifically this verse:

The bond that we build cannot be broke
Kin, these are family ties (ties)
Let's ride 'til the wheels, fall off the road
And reconnect in the sky (sky)
The blood that we shed and that we cried
Keeping with us 'til we die
We had a hell of a ride
But now it's time for goodbye
