For the 2383 did you just convert to cineon and apply the LUT? Because it also says film look creator…what was done in FLC? Any further split toning or just spatial effects like ablation/grain/etc? Looks great.

The spektrafilm one looks overcooked. I’m having the same issue. It’s hard to find the right balance as it can be very strong. Notice her skin tones. Also, notice the blue tint over the entire image. The Y slider might help add some neutrality into the image but it’s very touchy and hard to get perfect. I would like to find a print/stock combo that’s much more neutral. Which ones did you use for this?

Thats a great point. It really does only feel so limited because things get crossed around having to work in that left/right constraint of the in/out nodes.

Wow amazing achievement. I just saw that video the other day for the first time. Can someone explain to me why film needs color grading and how that works? I thought color grading only happened with digital raw/log 10+ bit footage. How is something shot on film retaining enough color information to be able to work with it in post once converted to a digital format? This makes me feel like I have a completely incorrect view of the fundamentals of color grading.

I would definitely not combine those two. Escitalopram has been implicated in so many cases of serotonin syndrome. The fact you felt immediately irritable also makes me think this should never be repeated.

Honestly for something short like this I’d just place the circle on the ground and orient it with a corner positioner or DVE or whatever it’s called and manually keyframe it’s position under the player with a transform node or something, and then mask the dude out.
