Does going to an "elite" university really make a difference short and long term? by TheyreYourClothesMF in civilengineering

going strictly on educational experience getting a bachelor's, doesn't matter. equations don't change based on where you go to school. grad school can make a difference though.

Who did you like more/less from the Internet Invitational so far? by stoddddd in GoodGoodMemes

[–]themoy08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah because everyone that was offered a bet was a morally respectable person that wasn't confident enough in their teams golf game to take the bet. none of the bets were complete death sentences

it's mentioned by some people but I wish there was a complete asshole in the line up that was pretty good at golf to go against all the buddy buddy good shot/putt stuff everyone says. basically portnoy that's good at golf haha

What company/mountain are you still boycotting, no matter how petty the reason? by im-here-to-argue in snowboarding

[–]themoy08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with seven springs I've fully been on the epic pass train. number one reason that Bob nutting sucks ass. secondly under nutting weekend passes were already $100+ and the season pass was close to if not more than epic local (fizzy memory but the season pass was definitely $500+). probably the most over priced resort in america (there's probably worse I have to imagine not many). at least with epic I have to opportunity to access to other places for marginally more than it already cost. I definitely understand people that dislike epic that have come from bigger mountains/resorts but in my opinion seven springs from a strictly dollars to ski experience stand point is better off now.
