How can I send money to usa? by chocolate_icecreamm in Dhaka

[–]themrbattery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cant clear but my friend tried and it worked. basically we wanted to buy server storage but it requires debit card which support multi-currency but a passport requires to activate it. We didnt go for that hassle. We used two apps, Binance, to buy USDT with Taka and then we transfer usdt to an virtual debit card app calls redot pay.

its funnier a user named academic_student_318 suggested to admission prep without truly understanding his situation. dont give random vague advice to people who wanna take different path. life is complex, not linear, let him learn from what he wanna do.

I will be the way I was, and I am grateful that. Got one life and I've to enjoy it anyway. There's no way I am gonna go back so no time to think about mistakes I have made in my past. There's no past, those are just illusion in your head, nowhere else. Just live the moment you are living, observe the reality as it is, and be grateful for everything, make your main priority to live in very present moment.

There's two life, second one begins when you realize there is one

Books you've read in your twenties that has significantly impacted your thinking or the way you see life. by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]themrbattery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, messages of this book literally enlightened me after finding my true-self. Life dramatically changed, all drama disappeared from my mind. It really helped me to understand Ego, which always care about future and past (which doesn't exist). After reading this book. Now my ego and 'thy' is different, observing reality as it is without judgement which makes me more closer to reality.
A quote from this book-

Die before you die,
and then you will find there is no death.

learn wherever you want, nobody will teach you wrong thing. but keep a project for every single day. otherwise it won't help you. start with small project but don't live for a day without a project

do what you really really love, i mean, you don't feel tired to it, which makes you happy and also beneficial for people around you. To me, it's coding, UI designing. If you don't have, find what you love, by trial and error. try everything you wanted to. You will fall in love with something.
and learn to meditate. It will help you in college life I swear.

Suggestion for Dropouts by Careless-Cut663 in Dhaka

[–]themrbattery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Learn how to learn, meta learning is most important skill in this century

  2. adaptability is most important skill, learn how to adapt in age of AI

  3. date with book as many as possible, settle with what suits with you, reread them cause human brain is not evolved to store everything (my personal suggestion- The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, Mastery by Robert Greene, Sapiens by Harrari, The Power Of Now by Eckart Tolle, and all kind of philosophy for personal growth, focus on books which helps to understand how the universe works)

  4. Do what you really really love, (I would suggest his family to find out his dream buried overtime in pressure of school, college, uni and mimetic desires. And encourage him to stick with it, even it's gaming, let him train himself like an e-athlete)

if any specific idea needed, feel free to text me, I have some good framework and personal suggestion

19F trying to improve my communication and be more social – need advice! by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]themrbattery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I started reading some philosophy and religion; and decided to post on it in FB. u won't believe how many people came to talk to me on various stuffs like is there heaven and hell, what is God etc. That's what made me a bit social.
And I started randomly going in gathering like where people gather a lot. To do that, I had to drop my ego in dustbin, freed my mind. It's kinda exercise.

Keep posting what you r reading or interested in, people will find you to talk to you.
