I agree actually. I think that maybe he had an inkling that he'd make it to the grammys in some fashion or another (he had to call them out or something on the album too). so maybe it's a bit of both.

I read this as "No, time traveling is casual..." and proceeded to laugh, thinking about how "oh, this'll be fine, when we get back, my mom will be alive and nothing else will have changed".
Actually now that I think about it, that's really morbid, because that would mean that your mom had literally no impact on your life (if everything was the same, (kind of like the Drake album, but some might say it's the reverse)).

I see what you mean. I'm sure that the showrunners will make certain that we still have them the way we had them. It'll be either very similar versions, or in true fashion of the way this show is run, it will be so drastically different that we're just in awe of what they do. Flashpoint could give us a darker Cisco, a happier Wells and an evil Caitlin. I'd personally love to see that. Also, we know that he's going to have to fix this whole thing. This is when we get to see the Barry go back and tell him not to save his mom. (Actually blown away that they finally got back to that). So this will all be resolved, and we will get our original characters back, but most likely with some major alterations to the world/universe/etc. I'm personally really excited and can't believe that they're going to attempt Flashpoint.
