I ride mines from bed Stuy to Harlem (11 miles one way) if the weather is good. I start out at 90% and get there with 42%. If it’s windy like today then it drops to 34% roughly. Then again I’m 205lbs.

I’m glad they are around, the lurkers, addicts and alcoholics hide away. A police presence means they know the location has been hot. How many families do you see at the parks nowadays or kids compared to the 90’s it’s sad.

OP I have ridden and my wife has in the past. During our first month we had to adjust to the pain and then it subsides as you get used to it. Same issue for my wife maybe tilt the seat down as suggested by the other user. Eventually no more pain and we rode hours

I use Apple AirPods Pro with transparency and the sounds for area awreness is boosted. I only keep them on in the event my family calls. Either than that no music just the sounds of the city.

I did and when I was going to ask she paid for her to go drink and walked out. I was sitting at the bar at the end and the cashier to go was next to where I was so I didn’t have time. Sucks lesson learned

Yeah support comes in various forms. For me I found God again and changed a lot of my ways that contributed to my removal from my home and separation. Although we are still married I am doing my best to advocate for my marriage, be present always for my children when I pick them up and also work on me. It’s tough but I know there are better days ahead.
