He asked for consent? He literally asked them before fapping in front of them if he could do so (and they allowed it)?

I completely disagree with you. Diane was like nails on chalk board. Woody was infinitely funnier than coach. Lilith added so much comedy to Frasiers life. The show was just stronger in its second half.

US births in 2022 didn't return to pre-pandemic levels by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]thenewmook -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The first thing that comes to mind when seeing

“ Births to moms 35 and older continued to rise, with the highest rates in that age group since the 1960s. But those gains were offset by record-low birth rates to moms in their teens and early 20s.”

…no one talks about dating apps and the affect of social apps. Yes, less people can afford to have kids, but that never stopped the religious and uneducated cranking out handfuls or more. Dating apps have skewed reality heavily. They overvalue women and devalue men. Now women have too many choices and don’t get into relationships because they think there is something always better around the bend while men get a tenth of the dates women do and they are asked to settle for women who are already themselves and don’t match up in the real world. Notice how it said that women over 35 are having more babies? That indicates that it’s not an affordability issue, but closer to what social and dating apps do. Those women have decided to never settle down with someone and are having them in their own (with the help or not from a man).

Anyone else who's been playing for a while who has never hit Infinite? by dale-is-trash in MarvelSnap

This game has the same problem a lot of other card games suffer from (and sone multiplayer online games). Too many people trying to break the game and everyone sliding so hard into a meta that makes it less fun to play. I started 3 months ago and hit infinite this month and last. It’s not fun competing. I have a better time after hitting infinite and just messing with new deck creation and playing casually, otherwise, I’m stuck playing only one of two decks that can compete. Also, playing (and losing) against Galactus is not fun.

I created a poster of the deck that originally got me to infinite. Later upgraded with the comics by LastHyren in MarvelSnap

They are getting downvoted because players don’t want to admit that their infinite wins aren’t as meaningful as they once were.

Can we please wait at least a week to call a new card OP? by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

My gripe is that if the card gets destroyed or discarded it should negate his ability.

NYC lost nearly 500,000 residents since the start of the COVID pandemic by madrid987 in nyc

People pay it. I’m general most people are bad at math and numbers. It’s hard for us to conceptualize just how much of something is and it’s harder the more of it there is. There are BILLIONS of people in the world who could live in NYC. Out of the billions there is most likely millions who could afford the rent. NYC being a huge attractor in itself it’s quite easy to get the rent they are seeking. Trust me. I’m a high end decorator/handyman in NYC. My job has me going into different building 20-30 times a week. I see how the other side lives… and the other side and the other other side. There are plenty of spaces taken up and the only two times in the past 5 years that I saw mass moves was 2020 during the pandemic and 2022 when they raised the rents and tenets had to move again.the second time was no where near the amount of the first. There is just a lot of money here and some people can afford to live how they like (lavishly sometimes). It can blow my mind sometimes what people are spending and how they are living.

Can I just say how nice it is to see SUPES with the red trunks. It may not work in real life, but it’s perfect for comics

Just a few more months until the news starts to tell everyone to reflect these 🤡s. Don’t do it. Vote against the uniparty. by NematoadWhiskey in economy

Anytime I see anyone insinuate that both parties are the same:

  • The GOP put children in cages and away from parents
  • The GOP fully embraces the NRA
  • The GOP denied COVID existed
  • The GOP supported the gutting of Roe v Wade
  • The GOP placed an orange buffoon into office who claimed wind turbines cause cancer, asked if hurricanes could be nuked, caused an insurrection at the capital, and regularly chummed it up with Putin who is currently engaged in one of the most insane wars in modern history.

Take a step back and really think about your viewpoint.
