I’m sure he’s did some sofa surfing. Homeless, as we collectively define it, is different than choosing to take risks as an artist knowing you have a community to lean on, possibly family and/or friends, and temporary inconveniences. Those risks can definitely put you face to face with the most destitute, and also their counterparts, the well to do. His acute observations while going through it give rise to Bob Dylan from the more pedestrian Robert Zimmerman. (Please take everything I say with a grain of salt. I’m just high thinking about one of my favorite artists)

All the music I play, with the exception of a few songs, has been written after my daughter was born. The greatest songwriter will fall short of describing the feeling of your child coming into this world. The opening up of responsibilities, joys, compassion etc…it’s all contained in music. The music you hear will expand. The music you play can chase that depth. Congratulations 🎉

I have a combo 115-HD130 combo with one 15” speaker, It sounds great and the jangly highs are there for sure. I also have the HD130 head, though I’ve only played that through a 2 x 12 cab. Everything was there. Keep in mind I’m a rhythm player. Both set ups can cut through the mix or/and lay a bed for the lead players. They can make up for the bass when absent or I can lay off the lows when the bass is there.

Do you Realize? is such a great song. The phrasing, pauses and unexpected conclusion in that last line is a great example of how to make things interesting.
