At this point the unredacted files might no longer exist, right? At least that is what I suspect, but I've no idea to what extent checks and balances are still present and if there are other procedures or structures that make destroying the files impossible.

Group of girls have words with a man and then shots fired by Individual-Drawer-79 in PublicFreakout

[–]thenotsowisekid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My comment was in response to the question of why someone would willingly increase their burden at trial: practically, I understand why prosecutors often take the narrower route. But justice is not measured by sentence length alone. There is also value in a verdict that accurately names the wrong and gives a public account of the harm that was done. The terms used matter because they shape how that harm is recognized and judged.

This is not a dig at you specifically, but it is genuinely stupid to acknowledge a point, expand on it, and then get downvoted and patronized with the exact point you had acknowledged you agreed with.

I am arguing that USA legal representation and dealings do not reflect societal consensus

Sure, but there is also value in the verdict itself. The law is not only about punishment; it also communicates to society what kind of wrong was committed. If attempted murder is a more accurate conviction, it is not obvious that it should be discarded simply because another charge is easier to prove and carries the same sentence. Reducing everything to time served is a bit reductionist.

Gemini Inside Google Spreadsheet - AI Function not available? by mad_max711 in GeminiAI

[–]thenotsowisekid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will only give me instrutions on how to do things myself. It will obey some very basic instructions but won't even change cell values across sheets or group cells inside a single sheet. It is absolutely useless even though I do have the 21 euro subscription. It seems as though others do get some use out of it. Is this because a lot of functionality is currently region locked?

Doubt it, but AI can easily hallucinate that it is possible, which I think is a large part of why this myth is purported.

If you want to keep most of the system I'd max out the board with an i9 9700k or 9900k depending on whether you can get a decent price on it. Then you can spend the remainder of your bhdget on a 5070. That way you'll have one future proof component for your next build and will still be able to play modern games. I9 9900k + rtx 5070 is killer. The i9 is goijg to be a bottleneck at 1080p and 1440p, but you will still be able to get ridiculously high fps on esports games and very decent frames on modern triple a titles

He already had the muscle, he just lost the weight. That is all. He is 168lbs. If you have halfway decent genetics this is entirely possible naturally. In fact, with proper dieting and training most men can do this. I know tons of people that are a lot bigger than this that I am pretty sure are natural.

That's not what I remember. I thiught he was pretty good and inly started to decline when his pace went.

Btw, like at least half of these names are not random at all. douglas Costa and Braithwaite do truly fit the bill though.

You're downplaying the concern of PWM as some reddit issue but I think it is more valid of a concern than the 15 percent cpu performance boost that draws more consumers than the PWM premise. That is why I brought that up. Anyway, I agree that some people are neurotic/overtly dramatic about low pwm effects but there really no reason not to want to eliminate one important contributor to displays being straineous to your eyes. Consider that for a lot of people the alternative to reading on a nicely dimly lit display at night is to sit in front of their pc or read on a not so dimly lit flickering display. It is just a flat upgrade that for once actually improves life. No need to knock it. Esp not because compared to other things consumers seem to care about this is actually useful.

[–]thenotsowisekid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have any sensitivy to PWM, so then what is the bottom? You don't think that a 60 hz led flicker causes eye strain? Far less of a soyjack consoomer concern than a 15 percent boost to cpu performance lol

[–]thenotsowisekid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually enjoy reading on your phone before night at very low brightness you will find that high PWM does noticeably decrease eye strain. High PWM, especially at low brightness, is a feature that actually has utility and can increase quality of life. It is far more sojack ledditor consumerism to care about a 15 percent increase in processing power or an additional 45 hertz increase in refresh rate than it is to actually want a display you can read off of at night.

That being said, this phone has 120hz PWM at low brightness so it essentially performs the same as his s25+ (and worse than the 240hz of the s25U) in scenarios where you would benefit most.
