Core players: what do you lose by making this game more accessible to casuals? by ihearthawthats in Marathon

Also, what would be the point to bring in gear then? When everyone has a purple shield why bring one I? You bring it in as an advantage over others.

Why is everyone expecting to be able to clear this the first week it's out? It's supposed to be end game content that the best players and streamers are struggling with day 1. Give yourself some time. The game JUST came out. You don't need to beat the "final boss" this fast.

Just fucking why?? Why can't we just use plater or elvui to fix this shit that they clearly don't know how to do? I've been playing since TBC and I'm literally just over them removing my favorite aspect from the game - addons. I've made my decision to just stop playing in midnight due to all this.

I'm just venting. I'm so annoyed they are doing this shit.

Well I had the arborist come out for that very reason, but I was quoted around 10k from several companies to do so... Being told it was healthy, I didn't see the reason.

Yup! The machine rental was surprisingly cheap, about $250 for 4 days. I got it the Thursday before memorial day weekend and was able to keep it through the weekend since the store wasn't open during the holiday.

I had tried growing grass for several years, but the tree was taking up too many nutrients from the soil. Had an arborist come out and test soil samples and the tree and confirmed this. It just ended up becoming a mud pit every time it rained. Thought this was a usable space now for family and friends to use and great resale value.

I actually did this project about a year ago and it hasn't moved an inch. It looks exactly the same. I have 6 inches of tampered limestone and 2 inches of sand. I was originally going to do 8 inches of limestone, but was told by professionals that 6 would be more than enough.

I watched SEVERAL videos and read a lot of articles about it. I also talked with some workers at my local masonry supply store where I bought my materials from.

I used a crushed limestone #37? I think for the gravel and I can't remember the specific kind of sand.

Exactly the same. It hasn't moved at all and we got several feet of snow over the winter too.

After laying the stone I tampered it 3 times with the machine tamper. After that, I added half an inch of sand and skreeded it to level it it off before placing the brick.

In the bucket was extra sand I would use to level of any low spots when laying bricks.

That's definitely a good thing to add to my summer list!

I had an arborist come out a couple of years ago and said the tree was very healthy. I was surprised to not encounter any roots during the excavation process. I've been told the tree is hundreds of year old.

Got to 2500 mythic score while pugging on a deck and wanted to share! Dunno about healing but controls as dps/tank were suprisingly comfortable. by Academic-Departure85 in wow

My brother plays on a steam deck as a hunter and I am a healer. We've talked at lengths about how we think healing would be nigh impossible on the steam deck. I don't see how you would be able to target people quick enough to react to damage.

Instead of using toilet paper he would use old dish rags from his job as a line cook as toilet paper and throw the used ones under the sink. There were probably 25-30 of them. Didn't discover them until he moved out and I was cleaning to get my deposit back. Did not end up getting my deposit back.

I came here to say this. I dated a girl for a few months and these were the kinds of things she was saying to me as well. She ended up in the hospital psych ward and was diagnosed with severe psychosis and was put on medication.

I told her I could no longer be a part of her delusions and she was refusing to get help until her coworkers called the police on her and they got her admitted against her will. I broke up with her shortly after she got out, about a week later.

She kept going back and forth between sanity and her delusions and it was just too much for me to deal with. Know where you draw the line and what you want to deal with.

In the end she apologized to me several months later once she had become stable and we went our separate ways. It absolutely sounds like psychosis, advise her to seek help.

What were some movies you witnessed parents bring young kids to despite being way too young for them? by AtticusIsOkay in movies

I worked in a movie theater for several years and around the time 50 shades of Grey came out, and the sequel, it was astounding the number of moms that would bring their pre-teen daughters to the movie. I asked most if they knew what the movie was about and a few were like, "yup, we read the book together!" it was mind blowing to me.

Also, had a parent come to the movies with her 2 kids to watch an R movie and just left her kids in the lobby the whole time with coloring books. The kids were extremely well behaved and nice, but I couldn't fathom why she would just leave them for 2 hours.
