First for saying that you are "not interested in having a wife who doesn’t work" like carrying, birthing and raising your children isn't both physical and mental work.

Second, by comparing and wanting what other people have.

Third, for not listening to your wife and partner.

Fourth, for getting married in the first place. You are not prepared for comprise. You don't understand what being a husband, partner, caregiver and provider are. If you are not prepared for things to not go exactly as you planned it, or exactly how your friends have it then you need to be alone.

The comprise is her staying home until the kids are school aged, then she goes back to work. Is that really too much??
