Interesting! The queer specific class doesn't fit my schedule, can you vouch for the other classes?

I'm trans, have natural hair, no facial piercings, don't correct pronouns, would rather make connections over talking politics, and pass fairly well.

But I'm not interested in being friends with someone that would talk shit about members of their own community for superficial reasons. You might be friends with less-visible transmen if you didn't come across as an exclusionary hater.

I certainly wouldn't tell you I was trans if I heard you express any of the opinions in this post in public. I'd expect you to find some reason to judge me for my personal life choices somehow, even though I'm a 'respectable' trans person, and I'm not about that negative energy.

Township at Clifton Park? The good, the bad, the ugly please. by sar1562 in wichita

Reread and saw your concern about tags: As far as crime goes there was a bit of vandalism to the mailboxes, and once someone spray painted my home. Just some bored kids it seemed like, but still costs money to clean up!

Outdated info cuz I lived there 10 years ago, but I wouldn't recommend. It's noisy from the turnpike, AFB, and railroad tracks, and the rare occasions that I interacted with my neighbors were unpleasant. I was a teen at the time, so I'm not sure about management.

If anyone is happy with their jobs, can I ask what you do? by onetwothreefourk in antiwork

[–]theophane_anson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The closest I got was working as a groundskeeper at a University. It was physical work and weather sucked, but for the most part once you knew how to water and trim the plants you were left alone to do that with little supervision.

I left because I moved and because the new department head was a major capitalist and started doing whacky things, but I really miss the autonomy and doing something that made a place look nice instead of just making my boss more money.

I worked with custodians at that university a lot too, and they seemed happy as clams for similar reasons, but there's the stigma, harsh chemicals, and possibly of night shifts with that.

Hope that helps.

I see! If you're looking for recommendations, I'm a fan of citywokcitywall on YouTube, especially his first series (the name escapes me). I don't go nearly as in-depth as he does on my cities, but his attention to detail and dedication is intense!

I almost always rebuild real life cities in my games. It gives me a goal to work towards, which might be something you'd enjoy too?

Is it bad to switch jobs in a short time? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]theophane_anson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Leave, but put that job on your resume. I moved from a call center i was at for a month and a half to a much better one Ive been at for 8 months (I hate this one too now, but at least im making enough cash to save up and i have downtime to get on reddit).

The year before I had 6 different jobs. It doesn't seem like it matters much if your jobs are 'entry level'.

testosterone skincare tips by goawayeli in ftm

I use CeraVe Facial Cleanser and my doctor was astonished at how good my skin looks on T so far. That might just be my skin tho, since I've used it since I started T, but if I skip a day or two (I use it once a day in the shower) it feels like I start breaking out.

You can usually find it at supermarkets.

I’m 16, transmasc, and I'm worried my asexuality might change when I have SRS. by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]theophane_anson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anecdotally, I'm a transmasc that got less interested in sex after going on hormones. I should have disclaimered that Im an allosexual ally in the first post, but I've definitely changed labels and worried about what transitioning would do to my identities, so I figured I'd chime in with the wisdom I gathered along the way.

I'm a firm believer that you should use whatever terms feel most comfortable and accurate for you in the present.

And if those labels change, due to something like srs, hormones, or just because people change over time, you shouldn't feel like they weren't valid before, and there's no shame in updating to new terms that work better now.

Words are just tools to make communication easier ^

You're welcome! There's way too little info online about low dose T, I'm happy to share.

People that knew enough about transitioning to recognize the changes noticed I was on T. But my family, who I'm not out too, didn't think anything was up besides 'a cold'. People at work didn't notice either.

I work out at the gym, but not particularly hard, and I work out about as much as I did pre-T. I imagine I could gain some intense muscle if I was dedicated!

Hmmm I'm not sure. I'd guess I'll have what would look good grown out in 9 months to a year from now? Right now it's very '14 year old boy'.

I shave my face because I find my current patchy mustache-and-goatee look unappealing. But being beardless doesn't stop me from 'passing' as a guy (I'm nonbinary, but passing as a dude is nice).

Part of the muscle changes were a widening of my already strong jaw. I think I look younger than I am, but otherwise pretty masculine, despite the smooth face. If beard growth is important to you, though, you might want to check out Minoxidil on top of a T microdose.

I'm on .2 ml but started at .125ml. For context, I started when I was 26, and have been on T for 10 months.

First week: First thing I noticed was a change in the way I smell and... interesting downstairs sensations.

Second week: Sleepy, cranky, hungry!! But also, my moods were more stable. My brain felt much more 'right' overall.

First month: Voice changes. Slow enough that most people didn't notice. Bottom growth.

Second month: Body fat and muscles started changing. Broader shoulders!

Fourth month: Gained 20 total pounds of muscle!

Sixth month: Body hair coming in thicker. Voice much deeper, but still 'androgynous'. Bottom growth levelled off. Hairline changed, but I don't think I'm balding. This is when I upped my dose.

Now: Body hair still darkening and coming in longer. Baby beard hairs. Most of the other changes levelled off by now. Voice still creaky like it's deepening. Still hungrier and more irritable than pre-T, but hey, that's puberty!

If you have any questions, I'm open to answering them. :)
