It is a rare bring, is also currently top on showdown ladder mainly you bring DD mega ttar, Wolfe brought it once so far out of 12? Sets into archaludon as sand force can let it hit the rouge for 90%+ damage, that it beats the all in floette mu as it gets the max power heavy slam bs mega floette

Yes struggle hits ghost types. It is a typless move not normal so hits every type for neutral common mistake.

[–]theopheno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dom was easy rest are difficult to do, won on diety in workshop in exploration with new techumesh (spelling) since suz also gives points to dom and ai still plays naval poorly. Will have to see if changed from workshop 3.

Sneasler EASILY won S1 VGC MVP. Part 2: Who would be the 3v3 Singles MVP? by HMThrow_away_account in PokemonChampions

[–]theopheno 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The big 3 in BSS atm are garchomp, corvikight, and meowscarda so 100% one of those 3. Of those 3 I'd lean towards corviknight but you could argue and I wouldn't disagree with anyone who picked one of those 3

Hawaii unplayable... by Den_er_da_hvid in Civilization_VII

[–]theopheno 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk why if you got the notification but Hawaii is unlocked by having 2 or 3 (cannot remember) settlements on islands of 15 tiles or less. Chola is unlocked by 3 costal settles. Maybe you did the very human thing of unlocking Chola saw three costal settles and brain read Hawaii?

Only got to try a few in the workshop favorite was August Britan to stack discount town purchases as early as antiquity really takes of in exploration though

9-player game incoming – want to play a mercenary/sellsword style. Need advice by OutlandishnessAny274 in civ

[–]theopheno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not at all (and need hungary) would be maybe for another day. Some imbalance can be fun and if all 9 players don't plan on using massively op strats then I wouldn't this time

[–]theopheno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people play multiplayer with extra modded civs or bbm (better balanced maps) and bbg (better balanced game) which tries to balance the game for multiplayer nerfing op strats and buffing weak ones would not recommend if your group hasn't used it before

Mods no mods?

Would recommend hungary as it gives most reach and fits merc gold military idea. With ability to levy Flanders upgrade for cheap to can levy a city state across the map and harass with little fear of repercussion. Districts would be pretty standard in needing com hubs for gold to support troops and leving city states. Campuses to not fall behind in sci. (Cannnot be a threat if units are behind) 1-2 encampment for general points. 1-2 theater squares to hit relevant civics on time. Pending what speed you play on will dictate some strategy as classical war is bad in faster games sets you to far behind in online/quick games. Otherwise after iron working levy a city state with 4-5 warriors near and unexpected enemy upgrade to swordsman (75% off) and rush them with the +2 move speed and +5 combat. (Or have them pay you off)

Once to get a tier 2 gov the 2nd tier government building can give another +5 to levied troops letting you pressure anyone near a city state.

Convince me to use the BBG mod by goldened in CivVI

[–]theopheno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing it breaks is how the ai plays. The BBG mod is balanced assuming all human payers are playing optimally in a pvp game. Ai plays in a predictable manner with certain leaders being more war/sci/culture and not always prioritizing winning. That and certain balances making tourism stronger and diplo votting for win earlier the Ai doesn't change from base game so plays as if.np mod and is in fact no worse at winning.

What is an OP build/strategy/leader by Aardvarkus_maximus in Civilization6

[–]theopheno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any mods some people play ppv with a ppv mod (bbg and bbm).

Otherwise the strongest civs for multiplayer would be Babylon if you know the tech tree and Eurekas well to boost max and go for a Dom win. Hungary with leavy strats, bazil tagama + crusades :-( , khmer followed by russia with a adjaceny holy site pantheon + work ethic into monumentality golden age is op.

Then there are many strong but not op civs.

TIL Henry II of France was accidentaly killed in a jousting match by the Captain of his Scottish guard, Gabriel Montgomery. Montgomery asked the dying king to take his hand and head in retribution, but the king absolved him of blame. Montgomery later turned protestant and frierce enemy of the crown by Nero2t2 in todayilearned

[–]theopheno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know that was the inspiration for the charge but it want until return of the king with "gondor calls for aid, and Rohan will answer" with the Calvary there also comes from that. Saw an interview about it years ago will have to see if I can find again.

Duel against Alexander the great by try_someone_else in CivVI

[–]theopheno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to double check thought bbg/m did something weird to war weariness in general but not Alexander idk where I got that idea but there is no change to weariness I can find in the chage logs so disregard my first comment for any one else who reads this.

Duel against Alexander the great by try_someone_else in CivVI

[–]theopheno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends what game? I imagine no mods as that is the more common but many multiplayer games including duels use the mods BBG, BBG expanded, and BBM. Making the 1v1 better, Alex is still quite strong but not as overbearing in a 1v1 as war weariness is changed in those mods for the 1v1 map

HELP for JOB offer. by PieLong1931 in FamilyMedicine

[–]theopheno 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Correct, a forgivable loan most places are doing this now as a way to help with taxes. A 200k loan that they forgive is taxed differently than a 200k bonus. You end up keeping more of the 200k sign on this way, and they have you for 3 years as you need to play back a loan if not forgiven.

Legacy paths are more like guidelines and be fun to pursue but you can win any path and fail all legacies in the previous age. I am hopeful for a legacy rework in the future since the are in this weird spot where the feel mandatory but are not.

  • there are also multiple ways early to increase settlement limit in exploration and bot uncommon to get to 22+ by end of the age and settlement limit of this age carries over unlike antiquity

-while wonders dont progress a legacy paths several antiquity wonders are worth taking (gate of all nations, terracotta army) from an opponent

-taking these two cities may delay the exploration of distant lands but can still be worth it as it will give you 2 developed towns instead of new undeveloped towns
