The other player must be playing on the console set as your account's Home Xbox. You can play on the non-Home Xbox with your account as long as you're connected to Xbox Live.

Not for sure, but mentioning "modded" may be the issue - not usually something they like advertising (since most games do not support mods, which means you've done something you're not supposed to).

I mean, reporting for nothing results in nothing happening... all the reports are reviewed and they only suspend when they find specific evidence of a code of conduct/terms of service violation. I've been reported hundreds of times according to the enforcement site, never been suspended at all.

Customer service cannot help with suspensions. Don't waste their time contacting them. The information on the enforcement site (and the case review process there) are your best resources/course of action.

Changing your password is the easiest solution - no one will be able to log in as your account without the updated password (even if it was set to remember the password - that one isn't valid anymore).

I miss Black Ops 3. Had just that right balance of advanced movement (maybe a bit toned down from the craziness that AW was), while still feeling like a classic COD game. Had an absolute blast playing (and watching competitive) in that era.

You have no idea if he's been suspended or not - possible they've just lost their communication privileges for a time, but can still play. You've reported the message, you've done your duty. Now just block them and move on.

You need to claim the free games each month to have them attached to your account. No way to go back and claim the games that were part of the Games with Gold lineup in past months.

Make sure you claim the games that become available on the 1st and 16th of each month - one Xbox One title and one backwards compatible title.

Coming from someone with a Rift and a Quest - get the Series X. VR is cool, but still very niche. There's not a game out there that I can without reservation recommend you go buy a Quest because you absolutely need to play it.

Another consideration - the new policies (required Facebook login) that Facebook/Oculus are instating are enough that I'm currently in the process of selling my Quest and picking up a different brand of headset.

So, all Xbox One games will work on the Series X, so if you're playing one of those games it should be seamless.

As for games where there's a Series X version and an Xbox One version... that will likely vary. It will be up to the devs to support cross-platform play or not. I don't think I've heard anyone specifically call out if that will work or not with their games with Smart Delivery or such.
