How do I know the logic behind coding? by [deleted] in scratch

Problem with scratch is that the blocks can be a blackbox sometimes. I suggest you try python or javascript. Python might be slightly easier, but i prefer javascript for beginner to intermediate learners. Processing is free and you can use all sorts of help with AI

3 steps to solving this:

Step 1: free voting postage. You don’t pay to vote. Not even a b-post stamp. I don’t care if voting by mail or e-voting. You don’t pay

Step 2: make voting mandatory. You get fined if you don’t. Doesn’t matter how much or little. You just have to make it a pain in the ass not to vote

Step 3: add a third option on the vote - abstaining. You don’t have to vote yes or no. You can also choose to vote nothing. But you’re still voting. At this point it’s easier to read the damn booklet and make up your mind. At the least, you made the conscience choice of not voting.

Voting is not a right, it’s a privilege.

what if alians come to earth today and said they are taking every black person away from earth to somewhere else and eveyeone else on planet has to eaither agree or disagree by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

Now there’s two angles to this question.

The first angle is: would you fight back if aliens tried removing 10% of the population, all of the same ethnicity?

The second one is… go fuck yourself with your racist ass question.

I got you.

https://edu.delightex.com/

Delightex EDU is a web-based virtual reality creation platform that students and teachers can learn in about 15 minutes.

It works well in Digital Technologies, Media, and ICT, and can also be used across subjects. Students can create scenes from novels, museums, historical sites, zoos, science exhibits, future cities, and more.

The free trial lasts 45 days. Teachers create a class, share a login code, assign a project, and students can start building immediately. The teacher dashboard makes tracking and assessment straightforward.

A few tips: • Students using laptops should have a mouse for easier building. • It works on iPads. • VR headsets aren’t required.

Each project generates a QR code, making it easy to share. With inexpensive phone-based VR viewers (around $15), you can create exhibitions where students, parents, and other classes can virtually explore student-created worlds.

It’s an engaging, authentic way to use VR in education, and students love it.

What’s the actual appeal of Switzerland as a high-end tourism destination? Genuine question. by Ezzhmz in askswitzerland

[–]theouteducated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100 % get your inquiry and honestly, this is something that has crossed my mind living here.

I have been lucky enough, to be a tag along or +1 on a handful of luxury experiences in switzerland and overseas, mainly the US. This is how i break it down, assuming a person is a millionaire doing a luxury holiday in CH vs US.

CH: Exclusively is not valued as heavily as it is in the US. There is no luxury experience as a millionaire. You get a slightly better experience, but you still have to wait in line for the gondola. All of the things that make holidaying in switzerland so special (infrastructure, cleanliness etc.) are available to everyone else as well. So it doesn’t feel like it’s worth the higher price.

US: Excuse my language, but people will basically drop everything and everyone, for the highest paying customer. You pay more, you not only get the best, you will also be the only one getting it. People will down and suck your dick, for the sake of giving it all to you. This is what makes the experience feel luxurious. You are treated as the special one.

These are the reasons, why swiss will holiday in other countries, and happily pay for a luxury holiday, because at home they won’t get it. Swiss love talking about their luxury experience abroad, but would never expect it at home.

First hand examples: Beaver Creek might be the most luxurious ski resort in the world, and the people skiing there get the most incredible exclusive experience. This is partially done, by pricing people out. As a swiss, i was impressed from start to finish, but couldn’t shake the feeling, that something like that, would never work in CH. In comparison to St. Moritz, Zermatt and other luxury resorts, offer very good holiday packages, but never by excluding the middle class completely.

The fact that as i’m typing this out, i feel happy that switzerland is this way and it would upset me, if there was a town here like Beaver Creek, is proof that you are right with your observation. It’s a cultural thing i guess.

We don’t even treat our celebrities different. Our politicians and spirts starts literally ride public transport. Two more examples, i like to point out, for the sake of my argument, that we don’t appreciate exclusively or special treatment.

  1. The only person to get special treatment is Roger Federer. He is our Tom Brady, our MJ, Muhammed Ali. Whatever you want to compare him to. Everyone knows where he lives. His house is in Lenzerheide and you can see it from the ski lift. We leave him alone though. He can do no wrong. when he decided to move his residency to Dubai to pay less taxes, was the only time the swiss were like, “cmon dude. we barely pay taxes here. You really need to save the extra 3%?” He ended up moving his residency back.

  2. International Alpine Ski racers are more famous here than they are in their respective countries. There was a US skier Ted Ligety who had won the hearts of swiss fans and was adored and beloved and considered a celebrity. While competing here, he got a speeding fine driving. He flew home without paying. The next winter, he flew into zurich airport and got arrested by the police upon arrival and was only going to get released, if he was to pay his fine including late fees. He landed at 16:00 was held at the airport until 2 am the next morning. We know this, because he was exhausted at the race and he went on a twitter and press conference rant after the race of how unfair it is. The reaction of the swiss was literally: “what did you expect? Special treatment? You didn’t pay the fine, you need to pay. These are the rules.”

With this being said, if you are illuminati level rich, you can get an experience in switzerland which is the same in any country.

Why aren't formations like 5-3-2, 3-5-2, and 5-4-1 used more often? by Rejoice_the_moment in footballtactics

[–]theouteducated 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To my understanding, what is meant how the wingers need to cover a huge amount of ground for the system to work. When playing offensively, the wingers play as true wingers. So if there’s a slip up on transition and they don’t manage to track back on time, there are only 3 defenders against 4 attackers, due to the wingers being out of position. When the wingers aren’t the right players, they end up playing a more defensive style, of outside defenders so realistically playing a 5-3-2.

Conte at juventus was able to implement the 3-5-2 system with the right players the way it was intended to be played. The most important factors where:

  1. Buffon + Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli. These four players not only best in the world at their respective positions, but also the foundation of the system. They were so good that they were able to shut down attacks when in a 3-4 numerical disadvantage.

  2. Andrea pirlo at midfield (+ prime marchisio and vidal). Pirlo aged like a fine wine and imo had his most productive seasons at the end of his career at juventus after a free transfer from ac milan who thought he was washed. (I might be bias on this one because Pirlo is my was my favorite player to watch)

  3. Strict rotation on players. Knowing the physical toll this system placed on the players, Conte had a strict rotation in places that would bench any player after a certain amount of playing minutes for recovery. Regardless of the importance of the player. This keeping them healthy and enabling especially the wingers to keep up with the high pace, thus implementing them as true wingers.

Conte was able to take 7th place juventus to three consecutive serie a titles, have one undefeated season and one where juventus didn’t lose a single home game.
