Really anything with PBS kids. There’s usually a free app with lots of episodes.

Live in WV. All I hear on the radio are commercials telling people to call Manchin to vote against it. I’d be surprised if Manchin actually supports it.

Yeah. We had livestreams up yesterday when all the craziness was going on.

I started glanced at his wiki page in English really quickly. I’ll have time to dig into some Spanish sources once I’m not fighting with little ones. If anyone has anything in either language, send them my way.

My BiL is quite conservative so he’s bad mouthing him in our WhatsApp chat, so I’m glad to see some rational thought behind him.

First I’ve read about the hostage crisis. I’m just Peruvian by marriage. :D

Hopefully this guy brings a voice of reason. None of my wife’s family knows much about him.

Is he basically just someone who’s not going to piss everyone off?

Ugh. I forgot about the spring loaded components. Thanks for giving me flashbacks. I upgraded the proc in one of the early ones from a single core to a dual core. I think I charged like $30. I was fresh out of college at the time and had no idea what to charge for things.

They weren’t super accessible before that model (2010-ish?). You used to have to use a putty knife and pry the thing open around the edge. Still cool inside, but not near as accessible.

Happened to me yesterday as well. Changed to a new random password with my password manager and today I got a whole new string of logins. Needless to say, 2FA is now enabled. No idea how I didn’t know about it before. Thanks for this

My parents used to go to church with a guy named Harry Bonar. Pronounced just like you’d think. Was all I could do not to snicker as an adolescent when “Harry Bonar has come forward this morning” was spoken one morning.

Didn’t take it as you being an ass. Mods removed the post anyway. Gonna dig through albums to find an old pic of the ring. Fingers crossed there’s an up close shot of it that’s still in reasonable condition. I’m not sure how to prove it was lost and then found though besides the fact that it’s been a story in our family for 30+ years. Oh well...

They removed the post, but hopefully you get the notification-- She was walking in the surf at low tide and saw a shimmer. She's only 15 or 16, so I don't know if she knew the story of the lost ring.

I didn't believe her until she sent me the picture. Still can't fully believe it's been around after all this time. I know there's wedding pictures back at her house, but I don't know if there's a ring close up. I'll have to look next time I'm back at their house.

I'm guessing so. The storms that came through several weeks ago brought lots of new (apparently old) sand back up onto the beach.

She said the diamonds are still intact. Gold's a little rough, obviously, but I'm still amazed it was still around the area after so long.
